- Today we burn a set of JiffyDOS ROMS for us in the Commodore 128D. This process is not as simple as you would think since it involves assembling 6 different ROM images into a single binary file.

ABOUT RAVENWOLF RETRO TECH
RavenWolf Retro Tech brings you new vintage tech videos regularly. We love to restore and explore vintage technology and are also working on completing an assembly language RPG that I started making on the C64 in 1984.
At RavenWolf Retro Tech we restore and explore vintage technology from Back in the Day! Now that we have moved into the new shop, the frequency of videos is increasing. I’ll keep putting out videos as I can, but I promise to focus on higher quality videos that don’t waste your time over frequent, low effort projects.

This was supposed to be a tidbit Tuesday but I ran into a last minute issue. Please don't think of it as a day late though, consider it 6 days early!!! 😎
Excellent tutorial!Thanks for sharing!
You are welcome Rudy!
Great video man! Wish I had room for a little computer workshop.
It took me until my late 50s to swing it and that was thanks to my amazing wife who let me take over a space that was originally intended to both of us. The problem was furniture refinishing and electronics don't cohabitate well. We do have a nice bench set up for her now though.
DirectoryOpus supports zip, 7z, rar, gz, tgz, and more.
That's amazing! How did I miss that they are still around? I have a boxed version for the Amiga but I suspect I will need something a little newer!
don't forget to register winrar after 30 days!
Technically for me it would be register it again if I can't find my old license..😟
7zip supports it and is free and open source.
OK that's good to know. I have 7-zip installed so I either need to update it or I need to check on the default app settings
