Thanks for watching, Rae. If it is brick you will want to get a masonry bit. I believe it is a 1/4 inch bit. Drill the holes and then use the plastic anchors to screw into to hold the base.

How easy is it to get stolen?
You are screwing up those doorbell wires. There is no need to cut them down. Just tape the bare wire with electrical tape. This is a butcher job. Leave those original bell wire leads long. Its oh so hard to run new doorbell wire that you are leisurely cutting down unnecessarily.
Do you have to pay for cloud back up?
No this model is one time cost only. There are other options that have a cloud monthly payment but I went with this one specifically so I would not have a monthly fee. Been very happy so far with it.
