I love your enthusiasm over Seattle. I'm glad you had good weather. We love it when "the mountain is out" as we say. So glad you got to see and do so much in my city! I was born and raised here. I lived my entire 20s and 30s living right downtown 3 blocks from Pike Place Market. I still live 1.5 miles away in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. I need to remind myself to be a "tourist" in my own city from time to time just to see all the fun stuff. Embarrassing fact: I haven't been inside/up the Space needle since I was in elementary school. I really should do that some time. LOL
Love this video !! We're coming to Seattle in August , then off cruising to Alaska..definitely will do as much as possible in Seattle. Thanks! Happy travels !!
I lived in Olympia Washington for a while and loved it. I need to come back soon. Washingtonians are some of the nicest people I've ever met. I love Washington. The air smells amazing and it's clean plus you have Mount Rainier and the Pacific ocean there.
Also in the part where Alisa says you can see mount Rainer but the “snow covered mountains” are the Olympic mountains that Jason panned to! They are west of the Puget sound, mount rainier is east
I love seeing all the ports on the Pacific coast you never see people doing vlogs of these ports. Thanks so much its been great. Been too long since I have been to Seattle need to make a plan. Never said in the other vlog but loved the goonies tour awesome movie!! Jason's face on the goose liver I totally agree the gourmet food is usually the worst tasting lol!
What a lovely way to spend your day in port 😊 you sure covered a lot in the Time you had , aww that shame you couldn’t do the Needle 😢. 3 x time lucky next time 🙏. Eek Goose liver 🤢 no thank you 😅 at least you did try braver than i would be . Have a Good week 🥰
We did a Pike Place food tour, space needle, glass museum and over 11,000 steps in 1 day in Seattle. You should have watched the short movies about Chihuly, they have glass sculptures ALL over the place. You may have seen the glass works and not even realized it at locations. Beechers Cheese place is a great spot to stop and eat at also. There's a great seafood place at the main port in Juneau. It's where the sea planes land, I can't remember the name but MAN that Alaska Cod is is SO good. Nirvana started in Washington state in Abredeen with is about 2 hours from Seattle where they had their breakout. That's why there was so much stuff from them.
I was on the Bliss in April and had the tenderloin at Le Bistro as well. I had a little of the foie gras but it became too rich with the meat. The tenderloin was amazing though. Glad you guys were able to enjoy more of Seattle on this visit. If you come back I do recommend Woodland Park Zoo. It's not far out of downtown but you will need transportation. It and Pike Place Market are my two favorite places in Seattle
I live in Seattle. Would have loved to give you a tour. The original Starbucks is actually not the original, but the 2nd one, but I guess original sounds better than oldest. The gum wall was started by the improv theater there. Wish I could post pics. People have made hearts, skull and crossbones, and flags out of gum which is pretty neat to spot! Next time you visit, I highly recommend Kerry Park if it’s a clear blue sky day. You get the full skyline with Mt. Rainier in the background. Everyone says it rains a lot here, but I disagree. I used to live in Orlando, Florida and that state had way more rain (plus thunderstorms and hurricanes). Our spring and summers in Washington state are the absolute best. 😊 As for Bistro, the scallops were the best thing I ate in the Bliss!
Thank you so much for showing the beauty Seattle has to offer. As a Washington resident Seattle often gets a bad rap. Is it perfect? Nope, but show me a place that is. The northwest is beautiful! Enjoy your cruise. By the way, still love you in shorter hair!😊
I can't wait to get to Seattle one day. You two just have a way of making me want to hop the next jet to ...where ever! All the food looked amazing, in port and on the ship! I guess, actually Jason, your dinner wasn't really "good for the goose" after all. :)
Plus if you have a few hours on your way down to the airport, stop in at the Museum of flight! Very well worth the time involved! If you have a late flight on disembark Quetion day, this is an ideal thing to do on the way out of town
At Wally’s chowder house (near airport for pre or post trip)they have fish and chips with salmon OMG I died and gone to heaven Elliot’s at downtown pier has awesome selection of raw oysters
Just a note that there are two cruise ports in Seattle and they are not both downtown. Smith Cove Pier 91 is further north and not walkable to downtown. Many cruise lines use Pier 91.
Jason looking in the seafood case: "No. They're frozen. The crawfish are frozen." Me looking into the case: "Oh look at those tasty morsels. Jason stop looking at the frozen crawfish, focus on the tasty morsels next to them. The scallops Jason focus on the scallops." Hahaha Whew, good to see he had some for dinner. Oh and I'm with you guys on the goose liver. I love the tone of voice on Alisa as she was discussing the fact that people like it because it's gourmet. She sounds like "I don't care if it's gourmet, I'm not touching it!" LOL
We went to Pete’s when we visited 2 Summers ago! Our mouths watered the whole time! Museum of Pop Culture was fantastic! Nirvana was great, and they had a Pearl Jam exhibit. I didn’t enjoy the Horror section either!😱 Seattle is so worth visiting, despite the challenges they are facing as a city. Looks like a great trip, but not sure about those Pacific waves, though.❤
Totally awesome. Thank you so much for the info. Any suggestions what we do with are luggage for the day? I will be there in august and I guess flight doesn’t leave till 10:30 PM.
As soon as you said you were going into the scary movie section I immediately said out loud to myself, oh nooooo, I could never go in there! The movie that scares the bejeezus out of me is The Exorcist; I saw it nearly 50 years ago and to this day I cannot even think of it without being terrified. You pushed into that mushy tv screen and I said I KNEW IT! 🫣
We’ve been to Pikes Place quite a few times.. would you guys consider it similar to your experience at Granville Island? Thinking about going there before our cruise next weekend but if it’s the same as Pikes, we might skip it. Thoughts? and Thx!
The last time I got the french onion soup, it was delicious, but the cheese practically gagged you, it was thick gooey glob that just didn't seperate, & the bread disintegrated into the soup making for a sloppy mess. Never again. Yours looked perfect!
In Wisconsin the only possible way we could get crawfish shipped to us from Louisiana is if they were frozen and I'm not sure if that is even legal. We used to have crawfish boils in the summer, but now it is illegal to get live crawfish shipped up here. The species of crawfish that is normally shipped up here are considered an invasive species and thus they are not legal.
What bothers me about cruising is, they don't give you enough time in the ports. I would love it if the cruise lines would spend 2 full days in each port so you have enough time to see the sights you want to see.
I take offense on a comment you made about you don't see mount rainier very often. I see it 90 percent of the year, you just have to know where to look
Jason, I guess you will find out before hand before you try something new. I do not eat the insides of any animal, nor do I eat anything around the head or the ass
Oh come on Jason, goose liver is delicious. Did you really try it before or are you just saying you don't like it because you know what it is and it doesn't sound good? Step out of the box a little and I bet you will enjoy it.
What is your favorite thing to do in Seattle?? There is so much to do here!!
Pike place market is always a fav and of course the space needle has a New Year’s Eve celebration each year
The museum of Flight is amazing. Plan a full day there.
I love your enthusiasm over Seattle. I'm glad you had good weather. We love it when "the mountain is out" as we say. So glad you got to see and do so much in my city! I was born and raised here. We had a great day!! Seattle is such a great city!!
Love this video !! We're coming to Seattle in August , then off cruising to Alaska..definitely will do as much as possible in Seattle. Thanks! Happy travels !!
Seattle is awesome 😎😎
So nice to see these places in Seattle again! Last september we flew in from Germany for our cruise to Alaska and had a great time there!
I lived in Olympia Washington for a while and loved it. I need to come back soon. Washingtonians are some of the nicest people I've ever met. I love Washington. The air smells amazing and it's clean plus you have Mount Rainier and the Pacific ocean there.
Your video reminded me of how much I need to see the Chihuly Glass Museum. Wow! I agree that pate or goose liver is nasty.
Also in the part where Alisa says you can see mount Rainer but the “snow covered mountains” are the Olympic mountains that Jason panned to! They are west of the Puget sound, mount rainier is east
We could see Mt Rainier with our eyes but it didn’t show up clearly in camera.
I was so excited when I found this itinerary!! I love that it’s something different and we have really enjoyed it.
Thanks for a great tour. We will be there in two weeks and have 3 days to explore before our cruise. I bought the city pass as well. I’m so excited. 🎉
So glad you had a great time in Seattle. Lowells is our favorite place at the market to eat.
Pikes Market s the best. Fresh fruit is unbelievable. I love the free samples
Just love you two, so fun.
We cruised from Seattle last year in May. We flew in 3 days before our cruise and took in all the sites. Good times for sure!
On a land trip we did the entire Olympic National Park in one day, and did Pike Place, A Duck Tour and the Boeing plant on the second day.
We did a Pike Place food tour, space needle, glass museum and over 11,000 steps in 1 day in Seattle. You should have watched the short movies about Chihuly, they have glass sculptures ALL over the place. You may have seen the glass works and not even realized it at locations. Great video. Surprised that Alisa got seafood for lunch and you didn't
You need to go to Rock N Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH if you've never been. Worth the trip!
Jason would LOVE that!!
We were just in Seattle. We did all the same things you just did. Except we went to see a concert.
I just wanted to compliment you on the new great music on your channel. It really adds a sense of fun and adventure!
Thanks 😊
Loved that view of the Olympic Mountains from the restaurant in Pikes Place!
Wasn’t that beautiful??
My favorite is fresh seafood at Cutters., North end of Pike's on the water side. It's literally over the water.
This was our second time here and we loved both visits!
I lived in Olympia for a while and I love Washington State. Great place with great people.
Thanks for sharing! We will be there next month for 3 1/2 days before our Alaska cruise 🛳️
Really miss the longer format vlogs. Good to see you both. Great content as always. 👍
23 minutes is a pretty long vlog…lol! Thank you
Hi guys I like your videos
I really like Seattle is really cool.
You guys are amazing.
The food looks delicious 😋
Hugs from Utah .

Very true. We have only sailed with NCL in and out of Seattle so only used this port.
Totally Awesome guys, thank you ❤❤

Seattle is so worth visiting, despite the challenges they are facing as a city.
Looks like a great trip, but not sure about those Pacific waves, though.❤
The Pearl Jam exhibit was closed for renovations. Hate we missed it.
You wouldn't get my kids out of that shop either! We spent hours in Akihabra when we were in Japan because of all of the anime and figurines!
Excellent! ❤
She says "You can see Mt Rainier from downtown Seattle" and the camera points to the Olympics, LOL! Wrong mountain range.
Editing faux pas! Lol
@@EECCTravels 👍 Enjoyable video and glad you enjoyed my city!
Totally awesome. Thank you so much for the info. Any suggestions what we do with are luggage for the day? I will be there in august and I guess flight doesn’t leave till 10:30 PM.
Look up Port Valet Seattle. They take your luggage from the ship to the airport.
Yes, what Diana said.
You had foie gras with your steak at the Bistro. I didn’t really end this when I was on the Bliss but on Holland of America it’s to die for.
I meant enjoyed
Great video ❤❤❤❤

That museum was actually really cool! That section wasn’t scary but seeing the horror movie props was neat.
I would love to visit Seattle
Well catching the Holland America cruise line in seattle
We’ve been to Pikes Place quite a few times.. would you guys consider it similar to your experience at Granville Island? Thinking about going there before our cruise next weekend but if it’s the same as Pikes, we might skip it. Thoughts? and Thx!
Yes and no. The same concept but Granville’s market is different. And they have many local Canadian foods too. Definitely visit!!
Hello! Where you leave your luggage? Thanks
LOL My mom loves liver.. And really loves chicken livers. lol ATL natives.
NOLA port is city center as well!
Not really… the port is in the warehouse district and is behind the convention center. It is a bit away from the main city area.
But don’t forget the boondock port sadly we got that one and taxi/ride share a zoo and pricey
We used to call it "duck bill pate". 😂
There’s so much to do in Washington!
The last time I got the french onion soup, it was delicious, but the cheese practically gagged you, it was thick gooey glob that just didn't seperate, & the bread disintegrated into the soup making for a sloppy mess. Never again. Yours looked perfect!
It was delicious!!
You have to come to the U.K. for the best Fish and Chips. 😁
It’s not great for the goose , if you get his liver lol , great vlog guys
Haha 😂
Fois grois! No?
Foil bras....you silly goose. 🤣
Are ya'll ever coming to Michigan?
Yes… one day! We are hoping to RV up there this summer.
Oh you will have to come down here for some good crawfish when they are in season 👍
When you got off cruise what did you do with your luggage
We were only in port for the day not disembarking the ship in Seattle.
What bothers me about cruising is, they don't give you enough time in the ports. I would love it if the cruise lines would spend 2 full days in each port so you have enough time to see the sights you want to see.
It would be great to have overnight stays!
Try a Bermuda cruise.
I take offense on a comment you made about you don't see mount rainier very often. I see it 90 percent of the year, you just have to know where to look
Just going on what other locals had told us…
Jason, I guess you will find out before hand before you try something new.
I do not eat the insides of any animal, nor do I eat anything around the head or the ass
It’s foie gras…fatty gelatinous deliciousness lol😂
Well it’s nasty lol
It is an acquired taste. Lol It’s like pate’. Small amounts on French bread.
😂
I believe the stuff you spat out is the pate de foie gras - disgusting 🤢 oh, and then I watched the rest of the video 😂
Glad you hated the goose liver . The way it's produced is Really cruel to the animal
Goose liver….or any liver….nope
Exactly!
Oh come on Jason, goose liver is delicious. Did you really try it before or are you just saying you don't like it because you know what it is and it doesn't sound good? Step out of the box a little and I bet you will enjoy it.
He truly didn’t like it…
Jason you are so crude. Really limited exposure to fine dining.
Really?! It was nasty to me and I didn’t like it! How is that crude?!
Seattle Sucks. The biggest pain in the back end👹👹👺👺🎱🎱🎱
