hahaha, haven't fully slept 5h straight for half a year, Im sick every 3 Weeks and I am extremly stressed all the time. When I work I usually just want to pull my hair out just because I feel so bad and any slight inconvenience in my life just makes me very aggressive. The only thing that calms me down is training. that is why I need my 9-15h training per week. But because I'm sick all the time I can't really see improvements, which also stresses me out. I think this video made me realize I have a really toxic relationship with my body... But I can't imagine not training for a week. I would feel like I'm a lazy piece of sh*t.
@@laisa. Yeah I do have ADHD, funny that you could deduce that from my comment. Especially that hyperactivity part is often overlooked and pretty strong in my case, I need physical activity to calm my nerves. That is also why I overtrain.
Adhd here, recently found out at 46, been burned out and overtrained so much through my life. I love the exercise dopamine, and being down in energy actually triggers me. At 46 I learn about adhd and dopamine vs cortisol.... But still can't eem to learn my body's signals, been overtrained 4 times since diagnosed adhd... poster child 😂
I think im overtrainined, tbf. Im trying now to slow down and cut out some sessions. I trained right through covid July this year. Oct I had another bad viris. Guess what trained through that. Im now with another cold this week. Im the type to chastise myself and call myself lazy.
The much needed video for me.. I was feeling tired all the time, no motivation at all to run hard.... Can't keep up with my previous interval speeds.. My Resting heart rate is high too like 56-60... I don't know it's just a very odd feeling I've had in a year and half of my running experience... I just don't wanna run hard.. What do you so say.. Am I doing too much hard workouts? 1 ez run, 2 interval runs, 1 tempo run and 1 long run.. ( per week)
@@JoshuaKhosa for a trained athlete it is lol. 60-80 is considered normal for people that are not into endurance sports, 40-60 is where endurance athletes are.
Try lowering number of hard days and keep the hours the same, I would for example completely remove tempo training since it does nothing for the top end but only accumulates fatigue faster then z2

Hi, maybe it would help to channel the need to work hard into other goals, activities, or hobbies for that week - or find new ones
I may suggest that you look into adhd ❤ I got diagnosed at 46, never knew why I craved certain activities but couldn't handle "normal everyday life"

That’s not a high resting heart rate lol
