He was referring to his mother being black and blue. not his wife. I mean that's what made sense if you listen to the song. that his mom was assaulted sexually as youth, and violently when he was a child around 5. When he mentions his wife it's about her being hurt he's cheating and her wondering if he's addicted to sex and needs help. The song is actually very easy to follow so for Drake or his team to hear that song and intentionally misrepresent it is a strategy but a stupid one because anyone other than a passive listener would actually question that interpretation.

The reason I'm confused is because Kendrick's one lines can have two meanings or different from thought.
Ill be honest here....Kendrick is just mad somebody who is not from his background and from somewhere else has been more successful than cultural artists in America specifically black ones....And he cant stand it he is jealous and is bullying like he in high school still.
