It is. So what if it’s a dumb vehicle. Dumb things can still be cool and it’s a giant spider. One of the best mini fig selections from a Spider-Man set too
The thing I hate about the electro figure is the fact that he smiles, they should have like get him a really angry face expression when his getting chased by Spiderman
admincommander 676 I feel like they pushed him in for into to the Spiderverse hype when they should have just made sets for that movie instead of the loose comic tie in sets
Here’s how I think a set can be fixed: 1. Put in a new villain or a variation of a villain we’ve got before. 2. If you have to have another Spider-Hero, use one we haven’t seen before like Kaine or Toxin, maybe Agent Venom. 3. Maybe have a small vehicle and a good building. 4. If you’re gonna use Venom or another symbiote, add some catapult feature to simulate their weird goop-launching power. 5. Redo the Daily Bugle set. Make it bigger and maybe taller. 6. Use some Ultimate comics inspiration, their designs are cool. 7. Maybe use a different Spidey suit, like the Black Suit or the Ben Reilly suit. 8. Raimi sets in 2022 to celebrate 20 years of the trilogy. 9. If you do a set featuring a building that’s important to Peter Parker’s life as a regular Joe, add a Peter figure. Just do it. 10. Put in a bit more effort than normal as Spider-Man is SUPER popular. That’s all just my humble ideas I don’t think anyone would pay attention to this.
Just a note- A Flash Mobile would actually be an amazing set- as long as it’s the one from JLU. It’s essentially the Van in the Infinity Saga set coming out. It’s an expression of Wally’s inner self.
I actually disagree with #9 and here is why. While I used to agree that the inclusion of the giant spider vehicle was pointless and ugly, I realized that it could alternatively be used as a spider slayer built by Alistar Smythe from the comics
I agree that the spider-man vehicles aren't great, every once in a while is alright but having a line full of generic, exclusively red and blue vehicles is really bland and monotonous. If I were to personally design the sets, I'd surround it around playsets based in New York and key locations in Spider-man's comics, and include more civilians and vehicles/accessories for them in the sets, all of which spidey can interact with somehow. Can't be a the friendly neighborhood Spider-man without a neighborhood, let alone people to save. But at that point it might as well be Marvel's Lego City.

I have to disagree with you at 3:56. I always wanted that set and yet I never got it. It looked so cool with the drones, the jet, finally a Mysterio minifigure.
I agree with you i owned the set as i am a lego collector and honestly its not that bad you are right i liked how they have the plane a special mysterio but only downfall for that set is happys face and hair but in my opinion that is really it i like the set overall. Hope you will be able to get that set soon
It PAINS me that the Spider Helicopter Rescue set is the ONLY set in the past 15 years that includes Mary Jane. She wasn't even included in the Daily Bugle set! And that set had EVERYBODY!
I agree with you on all of these except the Doc Ock robot battle. I love that set. The mini-figures are amazing, and we finally get a villain focused set (so many sets are focused on the big build being for the hero), and it works so well with the Bridge Battle set. I have the robot attacking the bridge from below and Captain Stacy zooming around in the boat under the bridge. It's great for that. I do agree that the doc Ock arms don't work with Doc Ock by himself even though you're supposed to be able to do that. But I never had any intention of doing that. For me, this set just make for a great companion piece to amplify the action for the bridge battle. Just my thoughts as to why I like it, and maybe why others do also. Great video and love the channel.
Spider-Man villains that fans have made but LEGO sets haven't • the Lizard • Tombstone • comic book shocker • comic book rhino • comic book Mysterio • comic book Electro • chameleon Instead of doing all these Green Goblins, vultures and the doctor octopuses, how about you do those figures

I also don't like stupid Spider-Man vehicles. But here's your answer to why LEGO Spider-Man needs stupid oversized bikes and weird trikes: LEGO needs to sell sets children. We fans may not like them, but LEGO is never going to listen to us. They earn a lot of money from parents that will have to buy the vehicles for their children who just think 'ohh mommy look a Spider-Man helicopter that's so coooool I want it'. And I get it, LEGO just needs to earn money. Although some vehicles are just so ugly that hardly any children nor older fans like them. I also realized that there aren't a lot of other things to make Marvel sets about. At least not many other things that children will like. They could make more bases or Venices or buildings but children will always like vehicles better.
Vehicles for Spider-Man are ridiculous; that's why they are awesome. It's actually kinda hard to find really bad LEGO Spider-Man sets, anyways, hope there's more to come from LEGO.
My guy is really judging 4+ and Junior sets as if they're meant to be compared to full sets for figures and builds? They recycle figures in these sets so the younger audience can get people like Green Goblin and Venom because they won't be getting the larger sets while simplifying the builds to keep the 4+/Juniors line age-appropriate...
Spider man gets a gigantic Spider Suit, a Car when he dosnt know how to drive, a Giant Walking Spider thing, and he has a surfboard, I think he is going to get a helicopter
Except maybe a space ship Incase thanos attacks And a 2007 toyoto camre for when he's a Peter Parker And maybe a Spider buggy for when you wanna sell toys
I actually kinda love the Spider-Man Car Chase. It's comprised entirely of a classic dumb comic thing AND a minifigure I could never justify buying before. At $10? That set was an immediate buy. I'm not quite as upset about the lack of the red-and-black suit, mostly because I've got no doubt that we'll see it in Spider-Man: Home on the Range sets along with some other new variant they made to sell action figures. I'm always into getting Spidey variants that add some expressiveness, so I was honestly more into that than a red-and-black suit anyway. I get why the Spider-Car Pursuit has Venom in it - 4-7 year olds also deserve the opportunity to get a Venom figure - but they really just dropped him in the box. Literally any villain could've been in that set and it would fit just as well. They should've implemented him a little better. I prefer those larger Doc Ock arms because he can actually stand on them. The others with the little claws took so much finagling and he'd still wind up mostly looking at the ground. The newer Doc Ock can stand on just two legs proudly and imposingly and still strike at the webhead with the remaining two. I was also disappointed when Electro turned out to be Ultimate Electro instead of the classic, but the fact that that figure looked as good as it did (and had unheard of transparent arms) soothed that really quick! I think that was another day one purchase, just for Electro. I was always waiting on the cost of the Spider-copter to go down, until it vanished from shelves. The build isn't much to write home about (although I definitely don't hate it) but those figures are just too tasty. Now that we have a classic Gobby, I'm even starting to warm up to just how great that Ultimate Goblin looks compared to his tv counterpart!
I remember that around the time it came out, I bought the Miles Morales and Carnage set. I got the Helicopter set instead because someone messed up the shipping. I was disappointed by the Green Goblin bigfig.
I agree with all the major points in this video but I do have one small argument with this list. IMO juniors sets don’t really belong with other system sets and produce them for really young kids so the ideas for the sets is to make it as simple as possible. Anyways that’s just my opinion love your vids keep up the good work I miss these from just2good
Glad you liked it man! I included the two Juniors ones because of them having vehicles not simple builds. The car from #10 is probably a better vehicle than the Spider-trike.
We now have the upgraded suit in lego now! It's a 4+ set with an updated mysterio figure that looks great and it has a great nick fury figure too. I know this for a fact because I have it
Well the vehicles are for kids are younger than like my age 10 to have fun more like playing around with vehicles it makes it more fun for the younger ones
On the topic of why Spider-Man needs vehicles, the way I see it is, at the end of the day these are toys for kids. Dear Ashnflash Spider-Man actually does need helicopters otherwise how would he swing above buildings without those offscreen helicopters so i think you should take the helicopter of of this list and put it as number one on a best lego sets ever made list
The sets with the Green Goblin, Electro, and Venum was one way for me to get hold of the villains in the sets, never had them in my collection till then over overlooking the vehicle part. As for the set 76016 Spider-Helicopter set, I would not mind getting hold of the bigfig Green Goblin there, looks pretty cool but it could just be me on that one. Then again I would not mind getting hold of the Lego Marvel set with Doctor Doom an Deadpool in it, but missed out on that one, oh well. Could see the Spider-Helicopter being fixed up some, change the color scheme around some and could work for a s.h.i.e.l.d agent working with some heroes maybe?

In defense of the spider copter, spiderman cant swing from the clouds, so its useful if hes going extremely high up in the sky
Ashnflash doesn’t like em veichles big, he doesn’t like em chunky
Spider vehicle: exists
Ashn: HE'S A MENACE!!!!!!!
