WHAT is in the water in Japan? They are just producing so much talent it is bursting at the seams and Mary's Blood is just further proof the ladies are leading the world in Japanese HEAVY ROCK. I like this band A LOT.
In Japan they have club activities and students practice what they like for hours and hours every day. So what happens is the country winds up with a lot of musicians and a lot of bands and other stuff. One problem I had with rock 'n' roll before I was introduced to Japanese Rock was that all of the talent was over 60 years old while in Japan every year new talent comes out. this starts with their club activities in junior high school. One problem with it is that in seven years no in Japan's going to know the popular bands in Japan who were popular seven years ago. when I moved here Mr. children was the most popular band and now younger people don't know who they are.

EDIT: I've since learned that it's not Victor's fault that MB videos are being blocked in the US. UA-cam is the villain here. They are blocking bands whose labels don't sign on to UA-cam Red. Victor Entertainment won't do it, so MB and Gacharic Spin are blocked. So I repeat, Victor is not the villain. UA-cam/Google is.
That still makes Victor a villain. They won't support their artists, but most other labels didn't blink an eye at such a small expense for the exposure it brings.
Dunno, they seem to be largely disinterested in western market. Same as Aldious. Both of them are major players in this scene in Japan, they play tons of gigs (not sure how many does MB, but A does 50+ a year), and release lot of stuff, and japanese music market gross is second highest in the world.

these girls never cease to amaze me, i will forever be there fan :) there are all beautiful and talented, i would love to see them live and meet them. i wonder if there friendly
+Anthony Williams You wouldn't believe how friendly they are. I haven't meet them myself but from those who has and from video footage and twitter, I have no doubt that these girls are friendly, but it seems that SAKI is the only one who speaks English.
Just recently listened to them few weeks back.. And now, My parents thinks i'm crazy head banging while drawing.. haaha.. does anyone knows where to buy there albums?? For Destrose, Ganglion, and other bands too.. Rock On from he Philippines.. :D
Love this band but man was this video hard to watch. Is it a rule in Japan that you have to cut to a new scene every second or less?Plus that background stuff bleeding through...Upcoming directors: don't repeat this mistake.
The mixing could use a bit of work, the drums are a little washed out. Specifically the snare. It's not meaty enough. Other than that though, this is fantastic.
Listen to their latest song marionette, also "trimmed down"? Destrose changes their bandmembers more often then Mary's Blood. Bet when you visit Destrose's website you won't recognise half of the girls. Don't get me wrong I love Destrose.

This song is actually pretty catchy. Must try some other tunes from them :) and the solo was not only fast shredding but had some story in it!
