One of the most profound things that realized when I was blessed to visit Kemet and see one of our early civilizations was that Kemetic civilization lasted 3000 years from the Old Kingdom to the Middle Kingdom for the New Kingdom. When you put that in perspective and compare to Western European civilization of 500 years which is now too disintegrating before our eyes. What is fascinating is when you see the Egyptian temples dedicated to Black African Deities that the Greeks commissioned during the 300 years they occupied Kemet where they had the surviving priests, builders and architects depict the Greeks bowing to and paying homage to Black African Kemetic Deities. Blew my mind when I saw this. Yep palm colored folks been appropriating Black African culture, knowledge and identity since day one. But the Greeks at least described the Africananity of the indigenous Kemites and the indebtness Greek civilization had to Kemetic civilization unlike their descendants which laughingly try to claim Kemet as their own.

It is amazing to me that slavery did not wipe out the spirit of the ancestors. They live.
