Hey TWO THOUSAND SUBSCRIBERS!!!??!? Wow 🤯 Sincerely, whether you've been tuning in since January or this is your first time hangin out with us, thank you thank you thank you. This is a wonderful community and you all make it even more fun than it already is making these vids. More to come...we're just getting started. Cheers 🥃
Indeed you’re just getting started. Without a doubt you will be amongst the bigger whiskey channels in due time. Y’all deserve it and thanks for the entertaining vids!
Wow, when you said you had a music channel I wasn't expecting that you are actually a professional singer/songwriter/performer. That's awesome. Great whiskey channel by the way. You two are great.
Hey guys! Just found your channel about a month ago. Love the content! Just watched a couple of your videos Dustin. Who knew you were a singer! Looking forward to seeing your channel blow up!
Longrow is actually a Campbeltown Scotch made by Springbank. Longrow Red is their limited annual release, cask strength bottling. And each year, for the Red, they switch up what type of red wine casks they're using for the release.
Congrats on 2K, Kayla should have a shotjee for each subscriber. In the 10YO bracket, Ardbeg is my goto compared to other distilleries. Uigeadail is super nice as well but never had any of these modern-looking ones, it makes me very skeptical to even try them. I'm actually intrigued to know how you find those Smokehead whiskies that you have.
Ardbeg makes some pretty "spectacular" (pardon the pun) releases......I have tried the Ardbeg Drum.....and loved it. Have bottles of the Heavy Vapours and Hypernova...but havent cracked them yet! LOVE the Uigeadahl and Coryvreckan......love the ten and 5 wee beastie as well!
Was surprised you preferred the Corryvreckan over the Uigeadail. Seems most people gravitate to the Uigeadail, Can you elaborate what makes you like one over the other?
Personally I’ve loved the Uigeadail but haven’t had the Corry yet. Uigeadail is finished in sherry casks and the Corry uses French casks. I would think Uigeadail is sweeter and the Corryvrecken is more savory.
Ok, Kalyn is really old LOL! From the thumbnail on the Whiskey Wisdom video of a couple months ago Kalyn looked very familiar. Probably the slight smile but she looks like she sat for Leonardo DaVinci's Mona Lisa portrait!
Love the videos I buy liquor for a luxury resort in the southeast so it’s fun to watch. I’m new to the channel what are your day jobs? Just wondering….
At least from what I could gather. I tried to learn more but ran off after Dustin screamed at me, "You're such a stalker!" At least that's what I think he said. It was hard to hear him through his bedroom window.
Depends on your palate. If you like bright fruit like apple and pear, try Glencadam 10 (around $40) or Arran 10 (around $50). If you like more chocolate and dark fruit like raisins, figs and dates. try GlenAllachie 12 (around $60) or Bunnahabhain 12 (around $60). If you think you'd like the smokier scotches, try Port Charlotte 10 (around $60) or Ardbeg 10 (around $60). If you want real budget options, try Naked Malt (formerly Naked Grouse), Monkey Shoulder or Maclean's Nose. These are blends in the $30 range that are all very high quality and still somewhat interesting versus a boring blend like Johnnie Walker, Chivas Regal, Grant's or Dewar's.
Oh, and if you want a budget smoky Scotch, try Scarabus from Total Wine (about $40), Ardbeg Wee Beastie (about $45 to $50) or Kirkland Islay Single Malt from Costco (about $45 to $50 but seems to be intermittently available during the year).

No need to thank us. You guys earned it! Good job and cheers!
Yay! For Y2k! ( your 2 k ) not crashing your computers at midnight! 😊
Been awesome to see you guys grow - and a little proud I have been able to be here from the start. 10k and 100k are coming!
Just picked a bottle. Now, that she can't get past the smoke I'm even more excited about trying it.
Inimitable means unable to be imitated or copied, it’s such a great word. The two of you make an inimitable combination, congrats on 2K subscribers!
“Trombone smelling technique”. I am here for the whisky and all the excellent shade from Kalyn. She makes this all work.
Wow, when you said you had a music channel I wasn't expecting that you are actually a professional singer/songwriter/performer. That's awesome.
Great whiskey channel by the way. You two are great.
Yeah, I was taken back, too. Happily surprised.
Congrats on 2,000 subscribers in such a short time. I am not a scotch lover, but enjoy watching you guys! 🥃
I finally found a Scotch Channel great video
Welcome aboard!
Your channel just popped through my feed. I’m a sub now. Love it 😂😂 Cheers 🥃
Aww that’s awesome thanks so much! Cheers to you and David 🥃
Congratulations on the 2K subscribers! You guys find the most interesting spirits.
Hell yes, here for it

"Is there anything better.... Kalyn..."Yes"
T-t-t-today junior!
You should continue Let's plays.
is that a vulfpeck hoodie?
You betcha! 🤘🏻
Have you tried the "Ardbeg Drum The Ultimate" limited addition yet?
@@NewsAboutWhisky I have not but I have heard it’s delicious! Unfortunately that one has been impossible to find…at least at a reasonable price 😕
@@otbwhiskey I just got one, I haven’t opened yet, I was thinking about opening it soon. I didn’t know if you tried it yet
I found this whisky to be too sweet. I think Ardbeg bizarrebq is a more satisfying pour.

Dustin owns an adult book store and Kalyn is a trapeze artist.
But seriously, it sounds like Kalyn does something with physiotherapy and Dustin is a singer/performer.
At least from what I could gather. I tried to learn more but ran off after Dustin screamed at me, "You're such a stalker!" At least that's what I think he said. It was hard to hear him through his bedroom window.
@@bdwilcox in the store?
If looks could kill… this would be Kalyn’s channel after the 45 vs 46 %.
The wife and I have never had a scotch before……what’s a great beginner scotch for a decent price?

Love you guys but had to pass on this one . No F's to give for scotch.
I am sorry....did I just hear you a stupid amount of Ardbeg?
Yes, and I'm here for it.
Delicious! Wish you two weren't so annoying.
The fact that you took the time and effort to type such words tells us far more about you than about their video.
I think you're the minority in that thought.
