man this video brought tears to my eyes my late father use to drive an 86 Mack superliner with the E6 350 Mack engine we use to haul dozers excavators back hoes T-Rex pans (double barrels) and pipe line for my uncles grading company you could hear him when he turned on our street stacks smoking and turbo whistlin I use to love riding in that truck with him that's what started me driving them and working on them.. keep the videos coming guys 👍👍👍👍 that's what you call BULL DOGGIN!!!!!
That superliner is music to my ears. I love Mack trucks especially the B-model. Nothing like a Mack engine going through the gears. Thanks for the great video.
When I was a kid, my dad would plant me in the passenger's seat of DM600 and DM800 dump trucks-the ones with the off-set cabs-to get me out of the house on Saturdays. I don't remember any of the technical details or specs, but I do remember the sounds and the drivers' battling with those two sticks!
First big trucks I ever drove , '66 Ford N model ( our yard dog) and '85 R Model Mack's ( company fleet) . Miss the growl of the Ford and the power of those Mack's. Our other closest local terminal was a rail terminal, guess where the yard dogs air horn came from lol.
@@chrislandsbury8423 Not exactly, the Mack-built diesel is actually the most expensive package in these rigs. Opting for a cummins/cat etc was cheaper.
Actually that's what I thought too . I Thought it was Pure Bred too . The owner of the truck said it was a Cummins w/ a Road Ranger Transmission . Its a Mutt but its a damn good sounding Mutt .
Adolph give. Me a call been waiting but true colors shows whom cared and didn't been real sick Sam jay and I been trying to clean and move stuff around well its took everything out of me and more going I guess when everone s got the time to run me its in my chest bad can't hardle talk and can't stand cough it lilter all I can to breath text me or call munks phone I'm laying down right now I've o
Yeah I hear not to many people are fond of detroits. I love how those old two strokes sound but they are just a pain in the ass. The crane at work has a 6-71 detroit in it and has been nothing but problems.
PAoutdoors99 It's called being a Cowboy. You treat a truck like it's the last thing on earth. You take care of it and treat it with respect. Jerking it around will end with a break down. Fuel mileage with this Cowboy is out the window. He's just a show off.
Your right about the fuel mileage part but he's not really beating on it. I have seen much worse. You ever seen a fertilizer truck spread at 40mph across a field, now that's beating on a truck. This is minor not to mention its an old Bulldog Mack. He drives his trucks all the same if you seen his other vids.
One of the reasons I don't like Euro trucks.... it's all I ever see. You see the occasional Western star or old international. But you don't see these cool trucks where I live. I call them trucks with snouts and get excited when I see one on the road. Almost like a little kid.😆
At work sometimes I drive an International with a Cummins, A Pete with a Cat and a Mack with a Mack and this sounds just like a Mack to me. I doubt it is a Cummins. Anybody know for sure what it is?
nice dose that have a v8 in it. \My dad has a 1990 calender truck its a superliner if you go on Desil drags test and tune he will be one of them videos

She's a thing of sound and beauty
More beauty sound is the detroit diesels
Your truck must have some serious muscle if it can pick-up speed like that loaded down!
I love Mack trucks❤️
Of course, This Baby is MACk❤❤
Memories of my life and Dad❤❤ the music to my ears. You know the sound ofa Mack, never forget ❤
I like when somebody shifts and pats the gas
tay white me too💪
pere Jackson check out my 565 Cummins video
@THOMAS WELLS keeping that turbo in the rpms
Pats the gas????
Nicely done keeping it between the lines and out of the ditches 😊😊😊
I never drove a Superliner,but I drove an 86 Mack R model for many years. Great trucks, and a great video!
Sound nice! Great video, almost make me feel like I'm on the dozer!
This is a pretty cool perspective. Love the pipes.

Same here Jim, I learned in a 76’ DM 800, 300 plus 15 spd tri-plex, double clutching two sticks will make ya a driver.👍🇺🇸
Mack was the only truck that could take those mountain roads and not fall apart, 38 tons of blue gem coal on her back.
This sure brings back memories ✌🏽
Looked like a LTL Ford from the back! Love the truck!
That things got power
Nine years ago. Wonder if that old truck is still around? It sounds like one of those ground pounders.😎keep diggin
Mack trucks never die...they're just sleeping until their next job. Long live Mack Trucks
Nice video! Pretty cool camera mounted ride! Nice truck as well, I like the older models!
i love this mack truck sounds and runs with the load & trumps up to the driver
driver was kickin ass. knew exactly where he could go and couldnt. nice work
cool perspective. The sound is awesome.
damn that truck sounds sweet
badass

Love the Mack!
Love that truck. It sounds great !
Kyle
Looks like the makings of a good rig mover!
Damn that sounds amazing
Thats 1 sweet sounding GROWLING SuperDog . :)
good sounding old dawg charley still purrs like a kitten and if it's your ride drive it how ya like!
That MACK sounds really good and strong.
Man that Cummins engine sounds like music to my ears
redneckboy Cummins, Cats, and Detroits were optional for years in Macks. Still one bad truck no matter what's in them.
acprimus631C don’t forget about the e9 v8 that’s not a v8 in this one thought
Only Mack ive seen with a cummins was custom. Mack makes their own motors in all their trucks
@@chrislandsbury8423 Not exactly, the Mack-built diesel is actually the most expensive package in these rigs. Opting for a cummins/cat etc was cheaper.
@@chrislandsbury8423 not true....the RS700 and RL700 had the option of Detroit, or cummins.
great sound
@hudsonjamesc I have my CDL as well
what a nice Ride !! wish i was in the Dozer
she sounds great
Big 10 Eaton!!
great mack superliner
nice vid, gotta love those old superliners! Is that a 350 mack engine?
thats an old mack superliner with a v8 diesel ifso it sounds great! love old trucks!
THAT WAS LIKE WOW!!!
@Jerald9000 It is the origonal engine.Cummins or mack in the U.S. ... Cat or Mack in all other countries.
i could listen to those pipes ring for a million miles!!
How did you keep the wind noise down and still here the exaust? I always have a problem with wind noise.
cool vid dude..
nice countryside in the background
love it!
Es muy bonito y poderoso 🤘
sounds like a full blooded dawg to me I used to pull logs with a superliner with the gold dawg on the front for austin logging from west columbia s.c.
Actually that's what I thought too . I Thought it was Pure Bred too . The owner of the truck said it was a Cummins w/ a Road Ranger Transmission . Its a Mutt but its a damn good sounding Mutt .

I see a lot of flat lands..nice country. cool Jake sound
why do you care about what i hear an see dude? find something that's stupid to comment on
oh ok. Am not from the states so this video is cool.
Definitely a heavy one
@Chewie2254 RTO 12513 triple overdrive. 3:55 or 3:73 rears can't remember?
Nice video,but why ya tacking it out all the way before you shift ??
How does one get into being a heavy equipment operator? or what's the best path?
@JollyMcStanson
A microphone windscreen is a great way to deaden the annoying wind noise.
What size dozer is on the bk of that low boy
Good Video, I am kinda surprised that the Mack has no fenders on the rear axles ???
perfecto!
Mack muscle at work.
GREAT vid Chris! I love Charlie's Mack Superliner!! Awesome truck, sounds great. What engine again? A Mack E9 V-8 right?
Not an e9 v8, sounds like a Cummins. Maybe n14
That was a real Mack truck
is that the original I6 mack engine or has it been repowered with a cummins
where are you guys located at? this place looks all to familiar
I love mack trucks...
How did you hold your camera on there?
Yeah I hear not to many people are fond of detroits. I love how those old two strokes sound but they are just a pain in the ass. The crane at work has a 6-71 detroit in it and has been nothing but problems.
Lol I hear ya pal
You were sitting in the dozer?
@BigBoyO56 Yes

Is this near Dillon SC
@BigBoyO56 yes
thats an old mack for you, tough as nails
how far apart are you guys from each other
I drove like that too when I was a kid ... you'll get over it!!!
Actually Charlie's no young kid if you watch his videos (copperheadmarine). Some people just drive equipment like this. Doesn't hurt anything.
He wouldn't drive for me.
Tell me what exactly he is hurting? Its an old Mack truck and he's just giving it a good run. Its not hurting anything.

@burghill1979 Yeah! 1.6 Million miles! Just think how long it might last if I didn't drive it this way?
Not very long
@cidertom5140 still running today lol
One of the reasons I don't like Euro trucks.... it's all I ever see.
You see the occasional Western star or old international. But you don't see these cool trucks where I live.

Damn, where do you live? 😅

Wow! Riden that Governor Loaded. Driver lacks experience!
Some peterbuilts do others have cat and I think even Detroit
@myjet4life 855 ci. Cummins 425HP
