her friends convinced her that she could treat her husband like shit for no reason, and he wouldn't leave. what was revealed was that she had a desire to treat him like shit.
She wasn’t apologetic! Not when she said that shit about it being the 21st century. If any coworkers ever suggested I cheat on my husband and that I “deserve more “ I would immediately quit hanging out with them.
How many people would give their right arm for a spouse who's a good earner, big house, etc. No complaints about arguing/abuse. What a dumbass. And her boss is an idiot too. Sounds like OPs ex, the boss and the 3 witches all need to be finding some other employment.
The wife was likely talking about once she went back to working at her company's office and he was still working from home. He clearly wasn't playing or loafing as he wouldn't still be employed after all that time. She just wanted more excuses and was looking for anything to blame/ resent him for even if it wasn't fair or right to justify herself.
Her only real option is to go to H.R. and take everybody down, especially the three crones. Revel in it, baby. Then move to a new city, perhaps Glasgow.
It's always *SO* satisfying when a victim takes charge and removes their cheating partner from their life. This guy did *EVERYTHING* right; he _immediately_ saved all evidence, got a lawyer, got a PI...not only that...but I *LOVED* his stunt with the cake! She was talking all that crap, laughing and mocking him when he first confronted her. She didn't even have the decency to be contrite! She _seriously_ thought he would roll over and allow this treatment. I'm _SO_ glad he showed her that there are consequences to her actions. Even better is how ALL relevant parties in her office saw her get served! She deserves everything coming to her. Both she as well as her boss need to be fired, as I'm sure there are company rules against this sort of relationship between a manager and a subordinate. It really irks me that this cheating garden tool then had the *ABSOLUTE NERVE* to ask *HIM,* the husband she _betrayed,_ for money/help in paying off her blackmailers. This woman SERIOUSLY has a lot of nerve! I'm SO glad there are no kids involved. He can make a clean break.
Not going to lie, I hope the blackmail story is half right in that the witches were going to turn her in either way. Clearly, it'd be because they're B****es through and through rather than any morality but still, just to rub it in that the wife listened to wrong people.
Sounds like that 21st century woman needs to retain an attorney, get ready to live on one income and find a new career. She sure is stunning and brave.

Her cheating on him was the Pearl Harbor; her shit-talking to him was the Fall of Corregidor, and his serving of the divorce papers with the cake was the Midway. I suspect that the divorce court proceedings will prove to be the Hiroshima AND Nagasaki atomic bombings in THIS whole story.
Okay... that.... was.... f***ing funny!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣 "Heres your cake, eat it!" Now that is classy! She wanted a "take charge man", now she free to find one. So basically, the Ex should be thanking op for giving her the opportunity! 🙂

Considering how she always sided with the managers he complained about and tried to push him to going back to school even though he was matching and eventually exceeding her in income, I'd definitely say she never respected him.
Her meal ticket is gone. She is sorry she got caught. She is also a grown up ADULT. She allowed others to influence her, and not look at her marriage as a whole from an outside perspective.

Joooooooo this HAS TO BE the best comeback I've ever read/listened to😂 I'm still crying with laughter This dude is how I want to become in the future 😂 OP, I applaud you for the level of pettyness I've not known is even possible
I remember something a guy I used to go to church with said about marriage: "A marriage is between the couple and God. As soon as you let other people in, you are asking for trouble." Most people assume that refers to infidelity, but it also applies to the "well intended" friends who tell you everything that's wrong with your marriage/partner and what you should do about it. The only exception to that is in cases of abuse. What makes you happy might not make someone else happy. What one person can't forgive, someone else can. There's no one right way to conduct a marriage. Someone else's marriage might be one that would make you happy, but that doesn't make it bad.
BTW, as a fellow IT nerd, techies and management frequently don't like each other. The two jobs have completely different skill sets and often VERY different personality types. Techies aren't threatened by "educated" managers who have higher degrees, they are simply two jobs who literally speak different languages.
You can say that to parents too. If you bring dirty laundry about your partner to your parents, their perception of your partner will become low and it won't change even if you and your partner make up or improve your relationship. Be careful what you say about your BF, GF, Husband or Wife in front of the others.
This is my kind of payback. Also, top off with a literal cherry with a card holding a message saying "What goes around, comes around. Hope that cake was worth it."
This is exactly what I would have done. Except it should have been timed with the cake so while she was being outed in front of her "friends" and AP; HR got a nice picture package.
Love this man's spine that cake stunt i could not stop chuckling when i heard that. Gotta love the biggest commonality in these stories is my wife met some new "friends" that were divorced and wormed their way into her mind. When will people listen to the golden rule of life - never take advice from someone that is worse off than yourself in that area.
Ex wife wouldnt cheat if she didnt share the same beliefs of those harpies even unconsciously. I have both married and single friends. I, myself am voluntarily single, and I would never encourage my friends to cheat on their spouses just because they want to eat more cakes. The witch lost a (seemingly) good man who provides well and isnt a deadbeat for 3 backstabbers and 1 spineless affair partner.
The wife felt like he was hiding something from her by shutting his door during meetings If she is accusing him of things that he wasn't doing then what could she be hiding from him?? The bad seed in the marriage or relationship is usually the one doing wrong and not the other way around
I’ve never heard of a woman that is so spineless. I do think that she was manipulated by her vile coworkers, but she is so week willed. I bet of it wasn’t the coworkers, it I’ll be someone else on a Internet forum. And it’s rich that OP is a “submissive male” while he has a spine of steel, stood his ground, and enforced boundaries. The cake was petty, but it was worth it.
She was convinced he was a submissive male because of the simps out there.. I said it before and ill say it again. My issue with more with the simps than the women.
In good relationship almost every man or woman can come off as mellow and submissive, because what do you need to show off this spine for? I doubt any woman *actually* would want long term relationship with domineering man, because unlike novels, irl it isn't fun.
@@lovelyjunk7048 This, there's a difference between domineering and dominant, and even a dominant man gets tiresome all the time. While I agree relationships by nature do best with one being more dominant and the other more submissive, neither sex nowadays truly knows what those words mean or what makes them worthy of having such nature shown to them.
@@GLoLChibs Quite right. My dad is much more willing to get confrontational with people, so Mom prefers to hand pushy telemarketers and the like over to him. She's also the "sensible one," to use Dad's own words, so if she wants a new stove, Dad gets her a new stove.
@@groofromtheup5719 it's possible. The solution to that is easy, go to the boss and say that you need $5000 to pay the blackmail - if she gets turned in he is most likely the one in trouble.
Spoilers While I absolutely adore this story, personally I would have waited until after the divorce was finalized to drop the cake but it’s still a ok, but I hope he’ll be ok with the negative repercussions for it
Moral of the story for women: Do not listen to other bitter women when your life is good because it won't get better and those women aren't gonna give you good advice and don't know what's best for you. Life is steady it doesn't get better it just keeps going.
The thing you have to know here is that that is how toxic people influence others. Kind of like cult people or bullies. The co-workers in this story fall under the bully category, they use other people's weaknesses to get them to trust them to give up their secrets to tear them down in the end. Andrew from Tangled the Animated Series falls under the cult leader category. He used another character, Varian,'s weak point in his life to control him.
This was a good one. Good for him I'm glad he didn't just let her walk all over him or try and work it out. She sounds like a horrible person. I wanna know what happened next w/ her at work and with their divorce. I hope the cake thing didn't hurt the divorce cause it was awesome.
I mean it could potentially hurt, but a good lawyer can spin it as a one time lash out from emotional pain and since he is listening to his lawyer from here on out, I think it will be a minor footnote in the case. I doubt a judge is gonna hold a hostile infidelity and a custom cake by a hurt man on the same level.
@@zibix4562 I'm pretty sure at least Judge Judy would be chuckling from the cake thing. Even better if she's reading this right now and then starts laughing.
Three golden rules according to me is 1. never make your best freinds a family member 2. Talk to co workers just for passing free time in office nothing more and tell your partner to do same 3. Never go on date with other couples 🤣🤣🤣🤣 and still percentage of getting cheated on is 99% because a cheater is always a cheater And girl if your 21 century women then your husband also have a backbone of king he knows what to do with witches
Listen one thing I've learned in life, if people threaten your relationship, cut them off immediately. Doesn't matter gender, doesn't matter relationship with them, doesn't matter anything, and yes your spouse will always notice before you do. If someone makes them uncomfortable hear them out, listen to them, even if it's just a gut instinct listen to them, take their feelings into account. I've cut off so many people for that, during my first pregnancy I spent a couple weeks away from my husband visiting my parents in Florida and all I could think about was how much more fun I would have if HE was there with me sharing these moments, we got back two days after we were supposed to and I cried because I was about to walk my pregnant butt home as if it would get me there faster. I realized just how many "friends" I had that were not just toxic to me, but to us and our relationship and I cut them off, completely blocked on everything, I even searched to see if they had Twitter's to block them there as well. I realized how much he truly does mean to me even though I was feeling very unsure because pregnancy hormones and I felt very unwanted even for simple conversations and that despite that I wanted and love him, and I wanted to ensure our daughter would see us as a happy couple who worked through things and did what was best for the other and treated one another with respect, loyalty, etc.... It's been 2yrs and our son is almost here, our daughter is beyond cherished and loved and I'm happy and like to think he is too. I've cut my friend list down to one active friend I've had since before I knew my husband, I've cut off family that were toxic to us and I have maybe two other friends I rarely talk to and I learned that it's no one else's business what goes on in my marriage, I only go to my mom for advice and she pretends at the end of the day she never knew anything and loves us both unconditionally, her and my dad basically adopted my husband years ago. When I've had friends tell me they'd leave for whatever reason my mom told me to stay, she just recommends therapy. It's a good life and marriage and I hope and pray it stays that way and we continue to always work hard on supporting one another and fighting through our differences. If you have someone actively making things weird between you and your partner, please cut them off. If you can't put your partner first, then you don't need to be with them. The only people that should ever be before your partner are your kids and as a Christian I also say God, but I know not everyone feels that same way so if you don't then I don't want to push that, only your kids and then of course your spouse. Hope everyone has a good day out there, best of luck!
I listen to a lot of these channels, I like this one the best as more often than not the stories come with an update so you’re not left hanging wondering what happened.
God this sounds familiar...my cheating ex informed me that I was apparently too co-dependent to ever leave him. Once he'd gone to bed, I threw a bunch of stuff (and my cat) in my car, drove 3 hours to my parents' house, and told him via text that we were done and I'd be back to pick up the rest of my things. He was genuinely, one might say hilariously stunned. Never stay with a cheater. They're scum and they don't deserve you.
He was a fool to have continued the relationship and a fool to marry a woman who was not on his side. Going to company gatherings without him and he didn’t see the red flags?
Wow. She was cruel with thay cake bit. Always keep away from the older divorced coworkers who try to manipulate you. There is a reason why they are divorced.
Her: You don't have a "Real" Education and you do nothing around the house, except being lazy... And yet despite all that he makes more money than her...
If they'd been living in almost any other place, that would've been true. The woman cheats, they get divorced, and she gets the house and the car and the kids and half the man's paycheck. It's sickening, but it's unfortunately true in most places. The US "justice system" is heavily biased against men when it comes to divorces and sexual assault. All it takes is a woman saying something negative, and a man is guilty until proven innocent (and often still is considered guilty, even with overwhelming proof to the contrary).
Man, I don’t get how people let coworkers get into their heads that much. I agree that she had to have already had some resentment (that ‘I feel like you’re hiding something from me’ comment was foreshadowing for sure) and let that justify why she would do something so shitty. And yeah she should go to HR. If she’s a middle manager, it’s literally part of her job to have that integrity
When he first found out about the affair between his wife and her boss, he (anonymously if that's what he chose) should have reported them to the HR. That would have stopped this BS and even if not, it would stop his pain, at least to some extent knowing that they lost their jobs as a punishment for cheating.
One thing is stbxw shouldn't be friends with a divorced coworker. That's what she gets for having affair with her boss. She lacks of accountability and have to pay the consequences which she is paying if she decides to report to HR.
Once you find out that your spouse has cheated, you really need to not let your emotions get in the way. You need to come up with a plan quickly that will be advantageous for you. That might be a lawyer, private investigator, hidden cameras, sort through financials, etc. Then serve the cheater/liar. Once a cheater, always a cheater.

How is he “lounging” when he makes the breakfast, gets dressed, and goes to work when she just rolls out of bed and plays candy crush when she can?
That's poison put in her ears. Sadly most people lack rational skills.

Some people also have jobs where the info they handle is so sensitive that not even family members can know what you're doing cause it would be illegal to tell them, in which case yeah he IS hiding something, but it's because he's legally required to.
I was thinking the same thing.
Exactly. I am a federal worker myself and let me tell you something. I deal with sensitive information and when I am working, my wife is not allowed in the room with the computer until it is disconnected. She does not even get to know my passwords or anything. Only I am allowed to see these things as I have been vetted and took the oath., and thus anything leaked from that computer is my responsibility.
Those kinds of jobs should not be eligible for work from home. If data is that sensitive, it should be in a dedicated facility.

"You've been served"!!!
Is the actual professional term, but still brutal and epic!
The wife felt like he was hiding something from her by shutting his door during meetings
If she is accusing him of things that he wasn't doing then what could she be hiding from him??
The bad seed in the marriage or relationship is usually the one doing wrong and not the other way around
I mean I would think there’s a reason why 2/3 of those office ladies are divorced

No. Ppl can not talk you into cheating. Wife wasn't sorry till caught and dumped.

"This is 21st Century women can have the cake and eat it too" they say this & then wonder why men are so reluctant to get married.
The cake thing is hilarious 😂😂

Story 1 I wish I was a fly on the wall to see all that going down. I am LMAO right now. Great job OP. Best of luck in the future.
Equilibrium is one of my favorite movies! I love that it was used as a reference.
The funny thing is that as she smashed her cake without eating it, she lost both her husband and her AP. Quite the metaphor if you ask me.

Glorious, need more updates for this, damn this is good, I know this story is too good to be true, but if it became a movie, it'll be a good one
The 2 unlikes are from the wife and her boss
One thing is stbxw shouldn't be friends with a divorced coworker. That's what she gets for having affair with her boss. She lacks of accountability and have to pay the consequences which she is paying if she decides to report to HR.
Op did a wonderful job at serving her the cake was a stroke of genius
Once you find out that your spouse has cheated, you really need to not let your emotions get in the way. You need to come up with a plan quickly that will be advantageous for you. That might be a lawyer, private investigator, hidden cameras, sort through financials, etc. Then serve the cheater/liar. Once a cheater, always a cheater.
