As someone who hyper focuses on different crafts for differing periods, I totally get you on the switching things up and I’m so happy to hear you’re doing something you’re enjoying. I love your videos no matter the medium. Thanks for posting!
Don’t be afraid to put your true self on video, after all your genuine personality and excitement for trying new mediums, is what keeps us coming back to your channel! The very thing you are worried about is the reason we are all fans of Heather….💖
Crafting is all about trying different mediums until you find the one that brings you joy and you love doing it. It can take years and years to find where you fit in. I’m so happy you found that place. Feed your soul and let yourself be free to be in that place. We all support you and love what you are doing.
Artsy Mad women and men always follow their muse wherever it takes them. SO GO FORTH AND ART- NO apologies, ok? Please don't apologize FOR being your creative self nor TO followers who choose not to understand. The overwhelming majority of the group here totally get your anesthetics and happiness. IN LOVE with your cloud❤❤❤ Gosh, you just invented a napping or resting or gaming rug!! Have a blast discovering the new toy😊❤❤
It is so nice to hear you say that you are fulfilled and that you're enjoying your art. As always, I appreciate you taking us along on your artsy journey. The side paths are so fun! ❤
Heather, this is your journey. You should never feel like you have to change your journey to please someone else. If someone doesn’t want to support you along the way so be it, you make so many others happy. And most importantly you’re making your self happy by doing something you love. Keep it up!!
I just want to say I LOVE watching you evolve and decide what you enjoy and what you don’t. I’ve been around since the drying flowers days and all your projects and new endeavors are so fun to watch unfold! I hope to buy one of your rugs one day because it would be so special to me, I just enjoy you so much! Happy crafting!
Girl you're like me. You like doing it all and trying new things. Making beautiful things but the rug creating really gets me and I haven't done my first rug yet! I have everything ready. Never feel guilty like you're abandoning anyone. Those who really love you will be delighted ❤
I discovered you because of the resin content and I'm still here! I love watching anything crafty! The most important is doing what you love! When you love doing something it shows and when you don't it shows too! So people who don't like the tufting can stay of go elsewhere! I prefer someone who's enjoying what they do to someone who doesn't!
Heather! Please don't apologize for being excited and inspired!! 🥺❤ Finding new things that excite you, following those interests, and seeing where they take you are totally natural parts of being a creative person. Your videos are a documentation of you and your artistic exploration, and those who get it will stick around and support you no matter what medium you're working with at the moment.
I still have about half the video to watch, it's still playing on my TV (because the whole family loves watching you!) .... but I got all verklempt about your tufting journey and how proud I am of you as an artist and a creator. Just. Freaking get it. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 You know what sparks joy? YOUR JOY. That's all I wanted to say. 💕
We "all" change our minds and switch to something else. Go with what makes you happy Heather! I know that I enjoy everything that you do. It is interesting to see all of the work that goes into tufting rugs..... wow alot of work. Be happy and never stop being creative. We all appreciate what you do whenever you do it.
I wish I could pick one craft and become an expert. But I have every craft known to man. Except a tufting gun. Just live your best life do what makes you happy. Watching you makes me happy so everyone wins. ❤️
Heather, I just want to say you inspire me as a fellow ADHDer, you feel so warm and familiar, and your success and artistic joy brings me so much inspiration and joy! This is YOUR journey! Were here for the ride!!
It was nice hearing you describe your feelings for your current art practice. A wonderful example of what it's like to come across a "spark" in your life. Feeling inspired, engaged, and excited to learn more/evolve/experiment. I love that feeling. I pursue it every chance I get. Thanks for sharing that.
So many things you say in these blogs-I feel like we could talk for hours about rugs, ideas, other arts… Tufter to tufter: the reality is we just can’t help it! If tufting is meant for you (and obviously it is!), its hard to pull away to focus on other arts. I can totally relate. If being creative makes you happy, CREATE! Whatever medium you choose, whatever the outcome, YOU ARE inspiring. Never apologize to the critics! Never change what you’re doing creatively if YOU are happy. Especially if it’s to appease someone else’s expectations for entertainment. It’s impossible to make everyone happy all the time. Everyone’s happiness with your creative choices doesn’t matter, yours does. I’m not into making resin art (I’d like to but…eh); however, I’d watch you [perhaps learn along the way] just to watch you create whatever it is. You see, it’s not just what you make- it’s how inspiring you are while you’re making [insert project/medium] that makes it, and you, so worth watching. I can only imagine how happy that long pile machine makes you! I was giddy myself seeing you pull that out of the box. It’s beautiful! And wowza! That’s the perfect length for this unicorn I’m working on! Tell me more about where you got it, please? Was it similar pricing to a standard machine? Ship time? Now I’m debating on starting the mane this weekend as planned or waiting to order one of these myself….oh the heartache of love at first sight!!!
No need to answer the questions! 😂…. I hit pause as you made your apology (to write the previous comment) and then finished watching the vid. Of course you linked that info!…. 🙏🏼 thank you!
I love all of the crafts you do so you do you. I am so all over the place when it comes to crafts so I i never commit to just one. I want to do tufting so bad it looks so fun. Im so glad you are happy and your channel is called artsy for a reason it isnt called heather does resin lol. Know you inspire me with every craft you do. Thank you sincerely
Those clouds take me back to when I was a kid (many, many blue moons ago), I literally begged my mom for one of these cloud fantasy tufted wall hanging, even took it to university. Can always do with a unicorn or Pegasus 😍😍😍
Hey I see alot of comments agreeing with this pov, but I think it's important to get funky with your crafting life! I have so many different crafts that I have tried and loved and they are on the back burner for now, until I get inspired to do them again. Right now yarn and wool based fiber arts is the most fulfilling for me, so I get where your coming from. As one of my knitting podcast hosts Tayler Earl calls it, we artsy people can be multicraftual and that's okay 😊❤
I’m so glad you changed your frame, I was worried about you falling while holding a very sharp tool. I guess that’s a Mom comment or in my case a Nana one.😊 I suggested a sturdy stepladder, your solution was much better! Over many years, I have tried plenty of different art forms.. Pottery, Ceramics, Sewing, Woodworking, Oil Painting and eventually Stained Glass. I enjoyed most of them.. some more than others. But, Stained Glass was my passion. When I was in my studio, hours would fly by and I never even noticed. I was fortunate enough to do what I loved professionally. Most people aren’t that lucky. Keep doing what you love and don’t let anyone take even a little bit of that joy away from you.❤
Hey heather I came across your videos when I started getting into resin and I’m absolutely obsessed 🤩 mainly because I have always loved jewellery making when I was a teenager in high school it was what I wanted to do. But then I had my daughter at 19 so I just focused on been a mum and forget about it. But sadly she died in a tragic car accident in 2020 she was 18 nearly 19. So I found someone to teach me resin and it’s been a great outlet for me in traumatic experiences in my families life. So seeing your resin videos early one giving me tips and tricks definitely helped. But seeing your confidence grow with the tufting I can see you have a real passion for it ❤ so keep doing what you really love ❤and you know what I’ll keep watching. And you know what creative people well I know from my own experience and with adhd I hyper fixate on one creative on one thing for a while and then eventually it doesn’t maybe give us that same joy 😢we need a break we can come back to it also later on x
I started watching you when you were working with resin. I fell in love with all your videos. I remember you tapering off and just started getting into tufting rugs. It was very different but interesting at the same time. I did look into tufting as well but knew I wouldn't be able to make them. Which is ok. I have so many other crafting interests that I don't miss not trying it. I can enjoy watching YOU make them! :) I am the same way. I watch crafting videos on YT and think to myself, "That looks interesting. hmmm. I wonder if I can do that too." So, on some of them, yes, I try my hand at them. Mainly just to see if I can create with that medium. I think the rugs are really awesome btw! And not every crafting medium is for everyone. :) That's why there is so many different ones out there! I haven't watched you in a long time but I'm really glad I watched this one. I can see how happy it makes you and that is what matters most. How a craft makes YOU, as a creator, feel! You go girl!
I mean, monstera leaves are pretty flat. And you’re right, people will trip. 🤭 But I can’t wait to see clouds in different colors! It just looks so inviting. If you put those big fluffy. Clouds on the wall behind your couch think how relaxing.
Love the Monstera rugs, those are gonna be awesome hallway runners for sure & puffy cloud for the win! And as someone you've inspired in the past and currently, it's not about you staying hitched to one type of craft or video. You're the package, the crafts are just the wrapping paper.
I watch you because I find you entertaining and I love your passion. It doesn’t matter what craft your doing , I love it all. Just like you , I also have a workshop in my house with a 1000 things going on at once so I get it 😊
I’m glad you’re being true to you. I feel like so many of us can relate to you. I’m the same way when it comes to all the different crafts I enjoy. Keep up the awesome work. Can’t wait to see that cloud rug.
Life is a journey and there is different scenery all along the path your path is your path if you are doing what fills you with joy that's all that matters I enjoyed your resin videos then and enjoy your tufting videos now thank you for taking us on the journey with you

Hi 💗 lurker here to say that no matter what medium your passion takes, I'm stickin around ( unless you pull a doja cat and tell us to leave I guess oop- lolllll) . Personally I can tell that you are a lot happier tuffting, and as someone who probz has some weird parasocial relationship with you, I'm happy that yourrrrr happy. I found ya cause I like crafting videos but I stick around because of your personality. Also as someone with super cute awesome anxiety as welllll, I know exactly where you are coming from, but, I hope you can follow your passions comfortably without worrying about us. I don't even tuft LOLLLLL. Base level, DO WHAT YOU WANT and I'll stick around, I'm gonna try to start commenting more. More encouragement for our Artsy Madwoman the better MHMMM!! 💖 kae byeeeeee
@@ArtsyMadwoman One more thing… even if it’s your “JOB” and while doing it you notice it doesn’t spark joy, then you’re not creating with love! When something is created with love it is always more beautiful and priceless!! IMO you got burned out and the flame was no longer there! I’m sure within time the flame will return for everything Artsy you have done and new sparks will appear as well! Myself I use to love flipping furniture but it became a job and no longer was healing for me. Now I’ve started doing acrylic fluid art and get so giddy whenever I create something! For me creating is comforting and allows me to feel peaceful and happy without big pharma! I just need to learn how to sell my art just to be able to keep creating! That’s my biggest issue and goal! I find it very nurturing and euphoria seeing others enjoy the beautiful creations I have made.
I absolutely love your resin videos, but I actually found your channel a long time back, while looking for information on rug tufting. I hope you stick with doing what makes you happy, because in the end that's what matters the most!

You’re so beautiful and caring but don’t focus always what makes others happy. If you’re not happy you sure as hell can’t make others happy!!!
Very true! I appreciate you! 💕
Awww, that's bad ass the transparent handle
Right?!!
That's a big ass gun lmfao
Lmao it really is 😂
