It would be nice if new RE4 would keep the novistadors, I don’t think it should be hard for capcom to make them. they made the drain demons in RE3 2020. I’m also wondering if this new giant spider in RE4make could be like the man spider from RE1.5, that has potential if this leak is true.
This game is being leaked so much i genuinely think the developers are intentionally doing it do that they can see our reaction to certain decisions they had and react accordingly, like if we dislike a change they revert it, and if we did like it they keep it. As if they are really trying to make thei game as perfect as possible like the original was

I'm not really into Separate Ways being merged with the main campaign. Having a side campaign like that as an unlockable is a cool reward and surprise for first time players. You don't really see unlockables like that in games anymore, that kind of stuff is just sold as DLC now.
What I am afraid from this "merged campaign" is CAPCOM cut a portions of Leon Campaign & put it for Ada. Also, I would say bonus unlockable campaign can also work for Luis Sera & Krauser (adding more contents), but we all know such things most likely are DLCs to make more money.

Aren't most of the characters receiving some sort of redesign?. Due to the photo realistic graphics, characters will look different. Heck, in the trailer, the main boss of the game has an extremely different voice, and will probably look nothing like in the original.
I wish they put in a creeper regenerator. Like one that peeks at you from around a corner or doorway, and is just breathing, only to vanish when you go check, or to change sound direction if you run away. Would be super dope

Oh, I forgot you could combine treasure to increase their sale value. It's probably been about 12 years since I've played the GC version. I have it on PS4, but have never played it. Probably should give it a replay before REmake 4 is released. Although I probably have even more time than that. Don't know if I will have a PS5 by that time. I haven't looked into PS5 availability lately, but I'm guessing they are still hard to find.

We had them in every resident evil game since 2017. When is it enough? Capcom thinks adding stalkers is scary but it's mostly annoying because you can't explore at your own pace freely. That alone is a deal breaker.
Wesker concealing his identity? Doesn't seem like something Wesker would do/care for. I mean he had no problem revealing himself to Claire in CvX and Hidalgo in "Operation Javier." Hidalgo even mentions to Leon he received the Veronica sample from Wesker. So Wesker is out there on the black market putting his name out not giving a shit. At this point Wesker doesn't care about concealing himself since he knows no one is powerful enough to stop him with his new found powers.
Honestly sounds to me like Capcom doesn’t want to put in the effort of getting a face model for Wesker and maybe even possibly a voice actor since DC Douglas most likely got canned for breaking NDA
The only thing I hope isn't true is Ada's story being part of the main story. I loved Separate Ways, it gave us an entirely different perspective and enjoyment of her character. Let her continue having her own campaign, Ada deserves it. Also, I do hope Mercenaries comes back and the same characters are playable.
Them merging it makes sense, they'd rather have one main campaign than have multiple different ones. Regardless it's still not that different anyway, and we won't have to fight recycled bosses like Krausser (fighting him 3 times was just stupid honestly, one in the main, one in seperate ways and again in Assignment Ada)
Im excited about these changes. They’re giving Re4 another facelift (hopefully with the controls from RE3R), but still making it unique. Seemingly adding things that make the other remakes successful into this one

I always imagined the whole "hallucinations" from the 3.5 monsters like the dolls on the floor, the moving axe/halberd wielding armored knights and the Hook Man would of been like a foreshadowing sort of moments. Like the first 2 or so times when Leon gets knocked out by the big cheese and after Delago boss fight when he was hallucinating about himself being infected and succumbing into a Ganado, maybe it would make sense to have those encounters in his dream state. Like, oh the dolls are mindless puppets. Why? They're just like the Ganados. Why are the armored knights moving? Cause they're infected with la Plaga as well. Who's that hooked guy in my dreams coming from The mirror? Bam, surprise the player with the Hook Man from his dream being real and one of the stalker characters. Make it all come together and come back full circle.
The hook man being added is a very, very good sign of things to come. The baby dolls were used in Resident Evil village. The flying fortress from the beta demo has never been used in the games unfortunately.
They could have merged the Salazar boss fight with the giant statue sequence. I feel like it'd be a cool concept to see Salazar mutate and the plaga's tentacles latch onto the statue and they merge into one giant hybrid thing you have to fight.
It's so good to hear Krauser will be in the remake. He had a significant role in RE4 and one of the most badass characters in RE universe. Also that giant spider boss is great idea. Thank you for sharing .
What I would like to know is if the treasures are coming back. I always enjoyed hunting those things down and if they expanded on the treasures then that's a good ting.

@@tylerwilliams6022 Yes, we can snipe the parasites using the infrared scope. But enough damage to any part of it's body will kill it eventually, including knife attack. UHD is the new/updated version with better texture, 60 fps and mouse support, etc.

It would be such a bummer to have "separate ways" in the main campaign. I really really hope is not like a few minutes only, like in RE2. I know they did that to be like the original but in the original RE4 she has her own campaign, her own point of view, and as a player you already completed the main Leon campaign, when you play as Ada you do feel like you have more knowledge and confidence just as Ada herself, so you really get into her skin. It's a very good way to immerse in a character and a story, but if you only give us a few moments with her I feel that experience is gone.

It really wouldn't matter, gameplay wise there wouldn't be a difference, and it'd definitely be longer than her section in RE2. I imagine you'll take turns, like 70-80% (8 or so hours) is Leon and then the other 30-20% (maybe 3 hours) would be Ada. I just don't want to fight Krauser again and again and again like in the original, 3 times was too much.

The original resident evil 4 is the best escort mission game to exist. Hate to see that we no longer have to escort Ashley as much, but maybe her gameplay can build her up as a competent person and fighter. Also I don't know why they wouldn't just lower the numbers of the flying bugs or make them slower or both.
at the end of the day, they won't make everyone happy. If they stay 100% true to the original, people will say its just the old game with a fresh coat of paint. If they do something different, people will find something to complain about. For me, as long as they don't dummy down the game and severely cut out content like the way they did with RE3, I'll be happy. RE2 Remake wasn't perfect but it was a damn good game

They should make salazar boss fight a bit harder, he's the last boss you'll fight in the castle but it's way too easy to defeat compared to other bosses. If it's gonna be the same then it won't be a challenge at all, but who knows it's just a leak.
Tbh, the Salazar fight was the hardest for me back then when I played the game. I remember that I struggled to beat him until I got a Bazooka, I finished him with one strike tho 😂
If you know how to beat him it can be easy, but he's got the instant kill moves that really make it a bit difficult. Really, after you've beaten the game a couple times, all the bosses become easy.
Yeah i remember that boss being embarrassingly easy, but to be fair i did have the Broken Butterfly and hit all headshots. It seems to be a common thing for RE games, that the really big enemies are usually the easiest and are just there for the spectacle.
Enough "leaks" come out something is bound to be right which will make some people say "you see, I told you this was true." I have high hopes for this game because this was my first RE game on the Gamecube and my first console game but I'm sure I'll enjoy it regardless

I like most of these leaks. However, I have one major complaint: I don't like the idea of merging Ada's story into the main one. That's lazy and just a way to cut more content. Ada deserves her own campaign, preferably a full one, comparable to Claire's in Resident Evil 2.
I think it will be a kind of reimagining of the hookman, instead of it being a supernatural being, it is going to be a grotesquely mutilated test subject who has been locked in the pitch black basement for so long that it has gained a disgust and sickness to light. i think it would suit the game better than the supernatural hookman, and create a comparison to trevor lisa.
The annoying stalker mechanic is going through the same epoch as the as the equally annoying QTE that Resident Evil also went through. Trying to play through the game while avoiding a NPC that gets in the way is like trying to complete a game of chess before some a-hole comes in and kicks the board over.
Seems like 50% hate stalker mech and the other half loves it. Personally, I don't understand why people hate stalkers in horror-ish games. But then again, I'm always been one of those players who loves playing hide and seek with the AI (or player), so yea.
The giant spider is a hold over from he version of RE4 that turned into Devil May Cry, so I guess that part of Resident Evil 4's development history will be brought back, too. I'm going to be honest, I'm not liking how this remake is going over, seems like a large margin of changes are being made, which, RE2 Remake kept things minor, while RE3 Remake only cut stuff from the original game, and changed Nemesis's mutations, but otherwise, kept the story pretty much the same. RE4 Remake seems like its going out of its way to throw in hordes of stalker enemies and other nonesense, while also cutting content from the original game. I just want a Resident Evil 6 Remake by this point, it's my favorite game in the series, and I wanna' revisit it.
It's nice that at least the RE community is a bit more alive thanks to these leaks, but as it was said "with a pinch of salt", honestly I and probably not only me will say that leaks or predictions were and never will be what they are. I always imagined the whole "hallucinations" from the 3.5 monsters like the dolls on the floor, the moving axe/halberd wielding armored knights and the Hook Man would of been like a foreshadowing sort of moments.
Like the first 2 or so times when Leon gets knocked out by the big cheese and after Delago boss fight when he was hallucinating about himself being infected and succumbing into a Ganado, maybe it would make sense to have those encounters in his dream state.
Like, oh the dolls are mindless puppets. Why? They're just like the Ganados. Why are the armored knights moving? Cause they're infected with la Plaga as well. Who's that hooked guy in my dreams coming from The mirror? Bam, surprise the player with the Hook Man from his dream being real and one of the stalker characters.
Make it all come together and come back full circle.
The hook man being added is a very, very good sign of things to come. The baby dolls were used in Resident Evil village. The flying fortress from the beta demo has never been used in the games unfortunately.
They could have merged the Salazar boss fight with the giant statue sequence. I feel like it'd be a cool concept to see Salazar mutate and the plaga's tentacles latch onto the statue and they merge into one giant hybrid thing you have to fight.
Sounds badass. I definitely hope they keep the flying insect enemies though, the more baddies to blast the better and they're pretty iconic
I hope they keep their weaknesses as well, they were strong enemies but super weak when shot mid air.
It's so good to hear Krauser will be in the remake. He had a significant role in RE4 and one of the most badass characters in RE universe. Also that giant spider boss is great idea. Thank you for sharing .

Yes, we can snipe the parasites using the infrared scope. But enough damage to any part of it's body will kill it eventually, including knife attack.
UHD is the new/updated version with better texture, 60 fps and mouse support, etc.
Capcom: We want to make this remake more dark and gritty, so we will be removing the scary giant bug enemies but keeping the giant goofy robot of a midget.

It would be such a bummer to have "separate ways" in the main campaign. I really really hope is not like a few minutes only, like in RE2. I know they did that to be like the original but in the original RE4 she has her own campaign, her own point of view, and as a player you already completed the main Leon campaign, when you play as Ada you do feel like you have more knowledge and confidence just as Ada herself, so you really get into her skin. It's a very good way to immerse in a character and a story, but if you only give us a few moments with her I feel that experience is gone.

It really wouldn't matter, gameplay wise there wouldn't be a difference, and it'd definitely be longer than her section in RE2. I imagine you'll take turns, like 70-80% (8 or so hours) is Leon and then the other 30-20% (maybe 3 hours) would be Ada. I just don't want to fight Krauser again and again and again like in the original, 3 times was too much.

I am curious about how Krauser will be redesigned, and whether his first close encounter with Leon will be expanded into a boss fight rather than a mere QTE. As for the other leaks, I won't dive into them, since CAPCOM is the final decision maker.

The original resident evil 4 is the best escort mission game to exist. Hate to see that we no longer have to escort Ashley as much, but maybe her gameplay can build her up as a competent person and fighter. Also I don't know why they wouldn't just lower the numbers of the flying bugs or make them slower or both.

at the end of the day, they won't make everyone happy. If they stay 100% true to the original, people will say its just the old game with a fresh coat of paint. If they do something different, people will find something to complain about.
For me, as long as they don't dummy down the game and severely cut out content like the way they did with RE3, I'll be happy. RE2 Remake wasn't perfect but it was a damn good game

All the leaks sound good to me, except for the one about the Bella sisters. I really like them and they are just as mysterious as Dr Salvador. I really hope they show up more than once.

They should make salazar boss fight a bit harder, he's the last boss you'll fight in the castle but it's way too easy to defeat compared to other bosses. If it's gonna be the same then it won't be a challenge at all, but who knows it's just a leak.
Tbh, the Salazar fight was the hardest for me back then when I played the game. I remember that I struggled to beat him until I got a Bazooka, I finished him with one strike tho 😂
If you know how to beat him it can be easy, but he's got the instant kill moves that really make it a bit difficult. Really, after you've beaten the game a couple times, all the bosses become easy.
Yeah i remember that boss being embarrassingly easy, but to be fair i did have the Broken Butterfly and hit all headshots. It seems to be a common thing for RE games, that the really big enemies are usually the easiest and are just there for the spectacle.
Keep in mind I played re4 from ps2 to ps4 and I recently got re4 vr and I gotta say it's worth the 40 bucks

Good. Gives you a sense of urgency and panic when you hear or see them close by. Fits with the horror vibe more.

I like most of these leaks. However, I have one major complaint: I don't like the idea of merging Ada's story into the main one. That's lazy and just a way to cut more content. Ada deserves her own campaign, preferably a full one, comparable to Claire's in Resident Evil 2.

The annoying stalker mechanic is going through the same epoch as the as the equally annoying QTE that Resident Evil also went through. Trying to play through the game while avoiding a NPC that gets in the way is like trying to complete a game of chess before some a-hole comes in and kicks the board over.
Seems like 50% hate stalker mech and the other half loves it.
Personally, I don't understand why people hate stalkers in horror-ish games.
But then again, I'm always been one of those players who loves playing hide and seek with the AI (or player), so yea.

The giant spider is a hold over from he version of RE4 that turned into Devil May Cry, so I guess that part of Resident Evil 4's development history will be brought back, too. I'm going to be honest, I'm not liking how this remake is going over, seems like a large margin of changes are being made, which, RE2 Remake kept things minor, while RE3 Remake only cut stuff from the original game, and changed Nemesis's mutations, but otherwise, kept the story pretty much the same. RE4 Remake seems like its going out of its way to throw in hordes of stalker enemies and other nonesense, while also cutting content from the original game.
I just want a Resident Evil 6 Remake by this point, it's my favorite game in the series, and I wanna' revisit it.
It's nice that at least the RE community is a bit more alive thanks to these leaks, but as it was said "with a pinch of salt", honestly I and probably not only me will say that leaks or predictions were and never will be what they are. No matter how much .... idk "seasoned leak man" he would be, if I can call it that, the first leaking kits, while a blessing to everyone, never made it to games:
-Remake RE 3: spiders will return, grave digger and ravens will appear in 100%, the raccoon city will be expanded
-RE Village dlc: cut content will be restored, a story about one of the lords will be added, the life of the villagers will be shown and etc.
-3 or maybe more sets of leaks for RE 4 remake which already says it's inconsistent
Seeing how it went (I'm not saying the winter expansion is bad) I will say that being disappointed at first will be a better response than excitement - if the game will disapoint you, then this will be one big whatever to you, if game will be great, then satisfaction will be even greater
That's how RE leaks works for long peroid of times and getting excited about it will only give more attention to the leakers
