This stream was so fun! Was there for parts of it and watched the vod on twitch the next day. MGS2 is a great game to watch you play, the vibes were great!
@@TinyDancerX99 Bioshock is a regression in pretty much every sense, with the exception arguably being things like accessibility and graphics, due to the generation difference. I still like the first Bioshock, it's a charming game.
nope. The twist is an inferior version with little setup and no narrative payoff. The audio logs make less sense. The rpg mechanics are limiting and the combat is rough. I actually dislike it
I usually stay silent during Bioshock bashing because Kyle’s bad takes are part of the fun but…not only does he not fully get it but he praises MGS for having similar elements
It’s too bad that Kyle’s first experience with Shadow of Colossus is the remaster. The remaster screwed up the grip, making the game feel worse. Supposedly it was the increased frame rate that messed it up. Many people didn’t seem to notice or care, but as a big fan of the OG I was really bothered by it. It made a big difference in game feel and I completely understand why someone would hate the mechanic if the remaster is what they played.
If you tell me that you don’t like the grip meter in the Shadow of the Colossus but you don’t have a problem with BotW or TotK grip/stamina meter (or other terrible mechanics like weapon duration from those games) you are not a serious person. You have to be consistent with your own ridiculous preferences or your opinion is completely arbitrary.
Man this is the only mgs that i don't remember that well. So on one hand i kinda want to replay it myself but i also desperately want to see kyle play it. Big dilemma.
I don't know, Kyle. You should move on from Metaphor. Trying to force yourself to play is only going to make it worse imo, especially if you don't enjoy the Persona/MegaTen games in general.
I absolutely love Persona 5, but after the Metaphor demo I also don't get it. I could pick up the full game but it's such a time and money investment for something I don't know if I'm gonna connect with. Everything I liked about it is taken wholesale from Persona, but without the stuff that made Persona special to me
I love Persona 3, 4 and 5... But I don't get why people love Metaphor either. I was very excited for it, but the game just became boring over time. And the dungeon designs and aesthetics are plainly horrible. You won't get why it why it got 9s and 10s after more time with the game, it'll just become more confusing...
Late reply but I agree. For me it actually felt like a reskin of P5 but worse in every way (not even a reskin of P5R, P5R is way better). Worse music, unimaginative dungeon design, side content is as bland as Mementos but it's all broken up into different quests/locations which makes it way worse than Mementos where you can just stack a ton of quests and blow through them all in one go. Worse group camaraderie. Archetype system actually undermines the roster of characters by homogenizing everyone (whereas in P5, even if I don't love, say, Haru, she still feels valuable to me because I can rely on her when I need Psychic damage). Such a disappointing game. I only understand people loving it if they skipped P5 entirely or hate the high school side of Persona

"BioShock gets what it deserves."
It does indeed, in the form of endless accolades and a die hard fanbase.
It's still System Shock's cute lil bro. Bioshock tried for sure.
@@Dimchek970System Shock is the rough draft for what became Bioshock. It’s like Dragon Boy to Dragon Ball

@@Dimchek970 "BioShock tried for sure" is an embarrassing thing to say. This is like "yea, uh, Terminator 2? Cute little movie."
Good lord.
Man I played this game a few times, read about it over the years, and didn't know about alot of these Easter eggs. Crazy.
32:05 I think you already forced a few people to grow up with the end of Box Peek (compliment)
32:33 - Thanks for looking at my drawing!~
Does Kyle not realize you can just plug a ps4 or ps5 controller into a PC and they’ll just work?

Wait, he doesn’t like Shadow of the Colossus? Bro.
His criticism only highlights his lack of skill and how little he played
@@TinyDancerX99it’s almost like people have different opinions. Get over yourself
@@TinyDancerX99I just commented on the SotC opinion too 😂 normally I stay silent but when there is no consistency in his opinion it drives me crazy.

Is Kyle going to play Spectrobes this year?

Honestly just play it alongside him. I do that with older playthroughs. I'm doing it right now with Control.
