This technique called tree braiding is nothing new! A lady out of Miami, who frequented NY flatbush hair wholesale store, tree braided my hair in 1988 for my wedding! During the late 70's and 80's, the hair styles ranged from $500 to $1000! I know! I paid $600! It was beautiful too! She would braid and leave locks of loose hair out as she went! The braid was used as a base and then she curled the loose hair and styled it! She was featured in a magazine called Black Hair that year! Nice work young lady!
