"Oats And Cranberries Cookies", This is one of the best cookies that I have tried! I had walkers oats and cranberries cookies before lock down and I just loved the rustic look and taste of the cookies and then I was craving them so I though why not try making them home.
This recipe will make the exact same Oats and cranberries cookies that you eat in walkers cookies boxes.
Amazing taste and the crunch is to die for!!
Ingredients for Oats and Cranberries Cookies:
Butter 170 gm
Sugar 170 gm
1 egg
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
100 gm plain all purpose flour
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 cup dries cranberries
Oats (270 gm)

Man, this is the best cookies i have ever made! It's delicious!
But instead of cranberries i used chocolate!
By the way, i didn't flipped the cookies, and than i put it in the fridge .
10 to 15 min later it was ready!
It became so chewy and delicious!

Hi, I've finally got around to making this...but the measurements are confusing...3/4cup (170gms) butter, then 1 cup is also (170gms) sugar...🤔 I don't have a weighing scale... depending on the measuring cups.
Sorry for the confusion but you can make it with your measuring cups without any worry. I think it's a typing mistake as sugar should be 201 gms on weighting scale.thank you for noticing it.
Can regular flour be used, if yes then should one add baking soda or powder and how how much?
Difference between bread flour and normal flour is the level of protein and gluten which is high in bread flour compared to normal flour to I think baking soda and powder should remain the same but you can keep an eye on the consistency of the batter and add liquid gradually to not to make the mixture too wet and if it becomes wet then bake on lower temperature for a bit longer to bake them perfectly. If you use a metal plate under the cookies, is it possible to skip flipping the cookies?
I think even if you use a metal plate under the cookies, you will still have to flip them at the end and bake for about 5 minutes just to make them crisp. Although the cookies will be fully baked but still just for the finishing touch. Hope this helps 😊
what can i use in place of butter? my sis cannot eat butter
You can use oil, any oil that suits her. Ghee is also an option
Roughly, how many cookies does this recipe make?
I made around 15 cookies from this recipe. Highly depends on the size as well. Mine were big 😁.
