    Love seeing the workflow 🙌🏼 One of the hardest parts when working with my Maschine is getting the project into Ableton. The workflow shown here tho makes working with scenes look easy! Thanks for the video!

    Is there a way to eliminate "ideas mode" entirely, and just use "songs mode", groups, patterns, and scenes to create the track? I used to do it just fine in version 1.8, now with ideas mode, it's rather convoluted IMO to get a flow going... I used to create 1 group, set it to drums, then clone several patterns for intro, verse, chorus, then bass in another group, make a intro, verse, chorus, bridge parts, etc... Now it seems impossible to get that flow back like it used to be... Then I could name all the scenes "Intro, Verse, Chorus, Bridge, Turnaround, Drop", and go from there... Each scene could select whichever patterns you wanted, and they were not linked, so you could use it as a live performance variation as well...

    Thanks for sharing your workflow, you’ve made it very clear 👍🏻
    One thing, it seems you’re working with “a 4 Bar Loop” instead of 8…?
    Until I had a look at the numbers, I was expecting a 160 bpm breakbeat to kick-in 😉

    • @MusicMemor
      @MusicMemor  Рік тому

      Haha yeah this one was a slow tempo! And I said 8-bar because the pattern in group B1 was 8 bars😁

      @maikvanrossum Рік тому +1

      @@MusicMemorAah!! So that’s why you call it an 8-bar after playing the 4-bars once 😅 Hey and it’s fine with me, nothing new to learn, but for your upcoming e-learning course I would suggest to get rid of this confusing part 👋🏻 Regards.
