  • The 2023 season has been historic for snowfall at Mammoth Mountain (Eastern Sierras). The main lodge has seen over 700 inches of snow (and counting), which is the most in recorded history. We took our family up to Mammoth Mountain with some friends on a recent trip. Here is part of our drive up the 395, to Canyon Lodge in April 2023.

WOW! That is incredible! I am going to be headed up to Lake Sabrina in about 2 months. I have a feeling that there will be plenty of snow at 10k feet in June, camping is going to be cold this year! 🥶🥶

I don't think you'll see any new snow coming in 2 months from now, so you should be good. Maybe the residual snow will start to dissipate by then. Either way, have a safe trip!
