Kung ang iyong tinutukoy ay ang aming Compact Series na KAM-95CMC32, ito ay maaaring drip or no drip. Upang maging 'no drip' ang iyong AC, kailangan isuot ang rubber plug sa butas sa ilalim ng Aircon. Upang maging 'drip' system naman ito, kailangan alisin ang rubber plug at i-install ang drain pan sa casing ng iyong AC. Aming nirerekomenda na lagyan ng extension drain hose (locally purchased) kadugtong ng drain tray upang maging maayos ang daloy ng condensate.

Though we tight budget and limited income, pikit mata kaming nag loan sa HC ng Kolin interver split typr aircon 2 years ago. Trying to conceive kami nun at para ma achieve ang mata hotel nalamig ng haus namin hehehe para comportable sabi kc ni doc dapat di ako na stress, eh kaistress ang init. Ano po ang fan speed na pinaka efficient at electricity saver, auto, low, mid or high? Laging 23 ang temp ko pero confused ako sa fan speed. Sana masagot.

At low fan speed, the electricity consumption of the fan motor is low but to quickly cool the room and reach the set temperature, it is advisable to set the fan speed at high setting. The quicker to reach the set temperature, the lower in energy consumption of the compressor.

Hello sir! Full DC inverter and regular inverter are both excellent in terms of cooling performance but in terms of energy efficient, mas efficient ang full dc inverter because ang compressor motor and fan motor po nito is dc operated. Kaya mas angat ang EER ng full DC inverter compared to regular inverter. Additionally, don't forget to consider your room area when choosing an air conditioner, choose the right size to help maximize the cooling performance and energy savings of your ac! :)

Pwede po ito mag cause ng higher electrical bill dahil mahihirapan ma-reach ng compressor ang set temperature since na-eexhaust lang palabas sa kabila yung malamig na hangin. May we suggest, kung gusto niyo lang po, provide another aircon nalang sa kabilang room para mas ma-enjoy yung cooling experience. :)

Good day K-buddy! Pakicheck po ang drain ng unit if naka-insert ang drain plug nito. Located po ito beneath the unit near at the condensing side (back part). Pakitanggal lang po ito upang ma-drain ang tubig sa loob po ng unit. Hopefully this helps!
Ano pong setting ang best para sure na makatipid. Totoo po ba ang 24/7 na walang patayan? I just bought Kolin Inverter Split Type 1.0 hp, mabilis naman lumamig pero hindi ko sure kung efficient ba kapag naka automatic na settings lang

Ang recommended settings po talaga namin to maximize your energy savings and for more comfortable cooling experience is the comfort cooling settings of 23 - 25C, regardless of the fan speed. Since Kolin split type inverter po ang aircon niyo, okay po siya gamitin for continuous operation compared from non-inverter dahil once na ma-reach ng inverter technology ang set temperature, i-memaintain niya lang po ito in a lower wattage consumption only. But lets say kung aalis po kayo ng kwarto at mawawala po kayo ng mga 4 hours above, mas okay po kung patayin nalang po muna ang aircon pero kung mga 1hr or 30 mins lang, we suggest na wag patayin ang inverter aircon para ma-maintain parin ang setting temperature. Also, keep your room well-insulated upang mas mabilis ma-reach ang setting temperature and you can also use the "eco" mode feature, same lang din po siya halos sa comfort cooling settings. Which is better in terms of energy efficiency? A single 2hp to cool a 25sqm studio room, or, buy 2 airconditioners for a 25sqm separated rooms (a 0.6hp for a 9sqm bedroom AND a 1hp for a 16sqm living room+kitchen)?

We suggest that the 2 separated units are much more efficient since the rated power for 0.6 hp and 1 hp when combined are much lesser compared to 2 hp. Also, kindly double-check sir the size of your air conditioner first if it matches your room area since an undersized aircon can affect the energy efficiency.

One of the great advantage ng inverter is nacocontrol nito yung speed ng compressor na tumutulong i-maintain yung cooling efficiency and to LESSEN energy consumption, compared sa regular type na nag on and off yung compressor. Also, comparing an 8 hours vs 24 hours cooling operation ng inverter and both operated continuously, may difference padin po sila in terms of power consumption. Yes both operation was able to invert after reaching the set temp but still tumatakbo padin po ang kuryente non. Additionally, there are many factors that can affect the performance of an aircon, like, the amount of heat load, weather, how you operate it, etc,. Example, if you bought an aircon that is undersized, well there is a huge possibility na pwede tumaas ang electril bill niyo since mag tatrabaho ng husto ang compressor to reach your set temp.
Just a tip na lang din po, since almost non-stop yung pag gamit niyo po ng aircon, dapat regular din po yung check-up nito to maintain yung quality ng cooling performance nito. Hopefully this response helped you. Thank you and have a fresh day!

Hello Sir Romel! Hindi naman po masisira agad ang outdoor unit pag sabay sabay mo po pinatakbo yung limang indoor unit dahil nakadesign po talaga yung process ng multi-split para doon. Base on your given scenario, yes pwede siya gamitin ng sabay sabay but may chances din baka hindi mapalamig ng aircon yung kwarto niyo po since nakabukas po yung pinto habang pinapatakbo ang aircon unit dahil computed ang load ng isang kwarto niyo po sa isang indoor unit lamang and also, if ever po ang unit ay nag exceed sa maximum pipe length, mahihirapan talaga ito mag palamig ng kwarto.
In terms of energy consumption, kahit sabay sabay po gamitin ang mga indoor unit, kung right size po ito at well-insulated ang kwarto wala pong problema sa energy consumption.

It’s around 12-13sqm only. We chose the S-Series Inverter 1HP as according to the Sales Clerk, inverter type starts only from 1HP. The unit was supposed to be installed in a bigger room but it requires some refurbishment so we decided to install it in the smaller room.

Good day K-buddy! Yes pwede naman, as long right size po ito, well-insulated ang kwarto, at naka-set ito sa comfort cooling settings na 23-25C. But reminder lang din also, kung continuous ang operation ng aircon, continuous din ang takbo ng energy consumption. Ang advantage ng inverter sa non-inverter is that, since variable speed ang compressor ng inverter, imeme-maintain ng inverter technology ang na-reach na set temperature on a lesser wattage consumption only compare sa non-inverter na ang operational system ng compressor is either off or maximum speed lamang. Also, make sure na regular ang cleaning nito dahil kung continuous ang pag gamit, continuous din ang pasok ng mga different air contaminants sa aircon.
im using kolin 1hp window type inverter,, ginamitan ko ito ng energy monitoring device, na observed ko kasi kapag gamit ko ito sa ganito setting na initial room temp. is 27degress, (by using thermometer) , then start ko na ac setting na cool mode, set temp. to 25degrees, auto fan speed, sa first 30 minutes nito nag operate ay nasa maximum 550 watts lang output nito kaya di gaano malamig, then after 30 minutes ay maintaning na lang sa power na 300wats to 330watts,, ..,
at na compare
sa ganito setting na ang initial room temperature ay 30degrees, cool mode set to 25degrees , auto fan speed ,, kapag nag start na ac on 830watts output nito kaya mas malamig yung initial start nito.,,
kaya ask ko lang based sa observation operation ng aircon na ito, kapag ang room initial temp ay nasa 27 degrees lang di gaano
nag work hard compressor nito kaya di gaano malamig,, pero kapag ang initial room temperature 30degrees or above., ay parang sa maximum operating capacity ang compressor kaya mas malamig ang output.,

Good day K-buddy, marami po kasing factors ang nakaka-apekto sa performance ng aircon po. So hindi lang ito dahil sa initial room temperature lang, pwede din ito mag base sa outside temperature, sa quality ng kwarto, etc,. Yes, kung mainit talaga ang kwarto mo may tendency talaga na mag mag trabaho ng husto ang compressor since malaking heat load ang kailangan niyang palamigin. Example, gumamit ka ng aircon ng tanghaling tapat with an outside temperature of 38˚C tapos ang structure ng kwarto mo is made up of plywood with no heat insulation. So with this, may possibility na tataas talaga ang heat load ng kwarto mo in which, it causes na mag trabaho ng sobra ang compressor para palamigin yung kwarto. Since inverter ang aircon mo po, once na reach na ang setting temperature ng kwarto , mag lolow speed na lang compressor to maintain the set temperature.

hello po, gamit ko kolin 1hp window type ac, ginamitan ko ito ng energy monitoring device,, ask ko lang kung talaga ba na automatic shut off compressor once na ma reach na niya setting temperature., kasi na observe ko, sa setting na cool mode, set 25 temp, mid fan speed,, after mga 1 hour operating ito at na reach na niya 25degrees room temperature, at power reading is maintaining na lang to 300to330 watts,, then the compressor will shut off ,, , then fan lang ang lumalabas sa air vent the power reading is 95watts reading for 5 minutes,, then mag on or engage na ulit compressor power reading 540watss to 450 watts pababa for 2 minutes ,, then after 2minutes naka on compressor , shut off ulit ito , then fan na lang ulit for 5 minutes.., sa ganoon ang cycle nito., kaya gusto ko lang ma confirm kung sa inverter or sa model na aircon na ito ay nag shut off ba talaga compressor., salamat..
Hello K-buddy! Yes, may possibility pa din mag-shutdown ang compressor ng inverter aircon if malamig na sobra ang kwarto. Still magkaiba padin ito compare sa non-inverter na fix speed lang ang compressor in which its either maximum or off lang ang operation ng compressor.

Hello po! Not necessarily po, maximizing your energy savings is mostly based on the design of its operating system and how you use your air conditioner. For example, if you're using your air conditioner while your doors and windows are not properly closed or your room is exposed too much from the sun, the heat load in your room will increase. Too much heat load can stress out the compressor to work harder to reach your temperature settings, which increases your energy consumption. If you experienced a power outage in your area, first thing to do is to turn off your AC unit and also your circuit breaker.
and if the electricity started after the power outage, kindly wait for 30minutes before turning on your airconditioner unit. Yes, you have to use a bit of patience now as it usually takes the AC unit a bit of time to reset its internal circuitry after the outage. This can seem like hours if your house has gotten very hot, but you must leave the thermostat “Off” to prevent the unit from trying to turn on when it is not yet ready to run.
After 30minutes you can now turn your AC on.

@@kolinphilippinesofficial hi po, our room is only 9sqm and we are currently using. 6hp from another brand. Our current unit could not cool up the entire room, just the bed side. Our ceiling is low that makes the room super hot. If. 6hp does not effeciently cool up the entire room, can we install 1hp instead? Planning to buy kolin 1hp soon.

Hello K-buddy! Try setting up your temperature settings to 23 - 25C. As much as possible, clean your filters every 2 weeks (1 week is much better) and keep your room well-insulated to increase its cooling efficiency.
