    I love the realistic expectation. There's nothing worse than hair that feels terrible. Especially with curly hair. The process isn't as white girl magic as they make it seem. ✨️ her color is beautiful 😍.

    Stunning! The color is perfect for her. I have had my hair a violet red for 6 years and am finally getting up the guts to change it to a brown/blonde since my color was discontinued and my grey has gotten to be heavier. I love how gentle you were with her hair. Hope mine turns out this hood!

    How many packets of the matrix color remover powder did you use? And did you mix it with developer or water?

    Hello! I love the colour you did, hoping to achieve similar myself. I'm new to hair lightening, but I've started to use platinum blonde box dye (with no bleach) on my virgin black (salt and pepper) hair. I ended up with a auburn - brown colour with the three levels of lift (without using any bleach). I want to go lighter.
    My question : Do I need to use a hair colour remover before bleaching my already lightened hair?
    Thank you so much for any advice!

      Hi yes, I would recommend having a stylist use a color remover prior to lightening your hair.

    I dyed my hair with box dye the other day. And it went red/burgundy which is not what I wanted I think perhaps I left it on a lil too long? I didn’t bleach it beforehand, just whacked the dye on and it still seems shiny and relatively healthy. It was a light/medium brown before I dyed it. Would I need more than one appointment to get it back to the brown I had before and would it damage any curl pattern I have?

      Every lightening service has the potential to take more than one session. However, it all depends on the stylist and the integrity of your hair. Unfortunately there is no way in telling without having your hair in our hands and knowing your complete hair history. I've done a red box dye to brown balayage on a client in one session, but she also booked out 5 hours of my time. I've also had clients with the same tone of red box dye and it took 3 sessions because her hair was too compromised. Those box dyes are made to be full proof and are usually formulated with extremely strong and damaging chemicals. it might feel good after, but as you wash it it will just become more and more dry. I would just book a consultation with a stylist and they can tell you what they can do for you before you even book the service appointment.

    I’ve played this like 10 times lol I’m going for this exact color except mine is a little more brown than I’d like, like dark blonde . Kind of like your clients second session fresh roots all over. What formula would you use to make the tips lighter like your clients lightest tips? I’m thinking 6nn lowlights too?🤷🏾‍♀️

    • @leezamhair6657
      @leezamhair6657  2 роки тому

      Hey there! Thanks for your support 💕 Are you asking about a formula for toning after lightening? If so, 6nn would be a little too dark, I would suggest lifting to a level 9 and toning with a neutralizing level 9 shade. Hope this helps! 🤍

    Question let’s say you went straight in to the burgundy with lightener for highlights and you get some red still showing how would you go about fixing that

    • @leezamhair6657
      @leezamhair6657  2 роки тому +1

      In that case you would need to choose a toner that has neutral mixed with green to cancel out the red. Green cancels out red and the natural (neutral) keeps the color from turning mucky or flat looking ☺️

    Hi!! I had a question. I recently dyed my virgin hair for the first time. My hair is naturally dark brown, and i dyed it like a dark red burgundy. I got it dyed with no bleach, just hair dye and 30 developer. Is there anyway I can go to light brown without bleach? Will the burgundy color fade completely on its own, since I didn’t use bleach? I’m sorry if that’s a lot of questions😭 I just haven’t found anywhere to ask

    Dont go red unless its a spray wax or wash in shampoo or a wig,or youre a red head 😅its not worth it.The removal is hell and causes so much damage it tinges every strand deep more than black.It was not a warm honey blonde first time it was a red that did not come out- for a hairdresser its disappointing you charged for that, i presume.I got rid of red on my hair after 2 bleaches 20 vol.clarifying shampoo every 3 days and bleach wash..with olaplex even in dry curly hair,argan oil , strand tests before each process and a month off from processing you should have had the courage and experience to do the last step earlier.She did not really need to home with red bits and wait so long and pay for remover and colour possibly treatment trims or god knows what.
