Lol, back in the day we called those cop out mixes. We used them when two songs had no business at all being with each other but we had to mix them some how and make it sound good. Listen so long as you can keep the party going and nobody's walking out you use what you can.
I have one! 1. Go on Serato DJ Pro 2. Click Settings 3. On the DJ Preferences, click the "Track End Warning" 4. And when it warns you. load next song and use crossfader to transition :) because who the heck cares about fancy transitions anyway?
As someone who learned to mix with House music, learning to mix without beat matching was an advanced technique for me and I didn’t fully grasp it until I started playing a lot more genres in year 7

Cause I personally dont have one as of yet, & really prefer vinyl, & have been learning & practicing skratching, with strictly vinyl, & would like to start practicing mixing honestly, buy have been stubborn about sticking to vinyl, & not depending on computer technology. But, it still seems really fun, & portable, & you've been piling up ideas in my head with all these great tutorial videos homie... Lol... Bahahahaha... But also, can I hook up my OMNI Portable Turntable, or my Reloop Spin Portable Turntable, to the DDJ-400, & use my portables for scratching, & then use the controller for the mixing?? Thanx bud, im guessing that I mite have to go to something with 3-4 channels, right?? Lol... I kinda thought so, but figured you would definitely know for sure my man. What about any of the Roland models? Like the 508, or the 708, or even the 808 Controller? Hey carlo. I use the pioneer ddj 400 controller. When you press shift and beat loop you can use different effects. How can I change intensity of this effects? And how can i swap one against another? An Answer would be nice!

Is there a way to turn the beat grid off on recokord box? or a fast way to adjust the grib without doing it one at a time?
"1" & "2" are in my popular set. Echo/Reverb with a bass drop work well for me. I still rely on those 80s & 90s style transitions.
