Maybe they can add region partition, for example we only wanted to play around fontaine so we can uninstalled orher region and put a paimon area boundary around fontaine when we want to go other region we have to download it again
You can't get accurate size just by a blank map view. Other factors like vertical scale vs flat land, does the region have diffrent layers like the chasm. Inazuma is mass dead space in water but fontaines water is an entire additional area under. Sumeru looks the biggest by miles but how much of that is completely empty desert?. I think by factoring in everything the correct size from biggest to smallest would be 1)Fontaine 2)Sumeru 3)Liyue 4)Inazuma (Is actually third if you count Enkanomiya but I am iffy on that seeming it's not even on the map where as chasm is) 5)Mondstadt Mondstadt is not even close to any other region it's hard to even call it a region. Smallest in map size, is completely flat and has zero layers to it. Without dragonspine the entire of Mondstadt is about the same size as a regular map expansion rather than a region which is pretty hilarious seeming that was most of what we had for over a year at the start of genshin
Don't forget, there's still khaenri'ah, celestia and abyss left...khaenri'ah was a kingdom strong enough to challenge celestia, so it will probably be huge, and the abyss may be divided and explored downwards in layers, each layer being as big as teyvat.....damn... I hope this never ends😮
I think the part that looks like Natlan with a Volcano is just being placeheld there. I think they have it out of the site of players right now so the players can't see the devs slowly forming out the map. I think it will be moved down to the southwest of Sumeru desert once its actually planned to be released. As for north of Fontaine, all that water I can see them making into a frozen wasteland for Schneznaya. I think a lot of people had the dandelion sea envisioned as a huge "sea" of dandelions but it may just be a literal sea. Idk I haven't done that much research into it. But these are my thoughts. At some point though, they need to start finishing off these areas. There are parts of so many areas that don't have a true end. Small parts of Sumeru that are out of bounds. That small part of the desert that is out of bounds that borders Fontaine. They need to finish all that stuff off. The map feels so incomplete because of these areas and it drives me absolutely insane lol
I totally get you, those empty areas between the Sumeru rainforest and desert are technically "finished" (you can walk amd explore it when using that out of bound glitch) and yet its off the map 😭 The worst one to me personally is that empty area between stormterrors lair and Qince village. You have to walk all the way around.
Just like you said at the end, I think most Genshin players are gonna truly struggle when it comes to storage since this game is pretty huge, your PC and phones are gonna burn before Natlan's release 😂
Once the map is complete, I expect to see Genshin Impact’s creators team up with Hasbro/Parker Brothers to create its own RISK board (ik it might be a cash grab, but it’ll be fun too), using the segments of each country (For example, every Inazuman island is part of Inazuma territory). In this version, each segment has it’s own waypoints or statues of the seven, and you should be able to teleport your units to any waypoint your color occupies, rather than just through connected segments. Some units, like allogenes, mechs, harbingers, and archons (worth 10 units and has 10 HP so it doesn’t become die and become 9 or less different units), will be worth more than one unit. Also, whoever collects all 7 gnoses wins the game, even if all other armies are still alive. Teams with up to 3-4 players are a good option to win, but making deals in real life (like agreeing to do one’s homework or an extra chore, aka a running gag on trading an invaluable item for something cheap) can also be done to get gnoses
I like that the video I watched directly before this was a comparison of the placeholder land before and after the 4.4 expansion showing the placeholder land absolutely zero relevance at all to how the area will actually look fully debunking anything in this video lol. UA-cam autoplay sure is smart

I somehow hate the fact that the Natlan placeholder was moved from West of Sumeru to Northwest of Fontaine. I have been imagining where Natlan will be, what it will look like, and being far from the desert annoys me. It's not even close or connected to the desert at all, at least do that lol
I want Genshin to be 500gb to 1 TB + in Storage The More Better the graphics, the more storage it takes, basic knowledge. I want genshin to go all out on it's potential, and not stay behind because consumers can't afford 25$ 1TB hard drive in 6-7 years and in this darn economy. (Ps I am from the country of Bangladesh a 3rd world, so not saying this as an entitled kid) Genshin Mobile and Genshin PC should have been Separated from the very beginning Like Pubg and PUBG mobile. PUBG mobile got the bigger user base cause it's affordable to the broke asfs while PUBG PC is GOD tier Graphics.
Better graphics =/= better game. More detailed graphics would not fit JRPG type games, theyre supposed to look cartoonish and plainish, not like cyberpunk with max graphics
Also you clearly do not understand how significant proper storage is when youre talking about "25$ 1TB HDD" those are terrible and slow, theyre made for storing videos, images, and big data folders you dont need to transfer or read often.
