@Spirit Echø i agree on the rock drakes. They can be really nice too. I really love the colors of snow owls they can be very beautiful. But, yeah i def agree with managarmrs are absolutely beautiful. I really like their design. It remimds me of Reshiram from pokemon lol

The C attack is for when its swimming. you cant use the mouse 1 or mouse 2 attacks while under water but the C attack works

Jus tamed my first one, a level 145 on Lost Island without any kind of trap! It was fun lol I've noticed they bug out alot and get kinda stuck defenseless in mid air. Just pegged it with tranqs from griffin. Mine also landed on a mountain side so it was a perfectly safe tame too :-)
I just tamed my first one this way too... It was stuck in midair.

high level snow owl is a much better choice. Just build two stone dino gates freeze the mana and place the gates one at head other right where the tail begins. This if done correctly will pin them down with the gates trapped for easy tame. Also helps prevent mana dieing due to the healing property of the owl freeze.
these guys are so cool, I basically got extinction just for them (and the snow owls)

Just tamed one of these for the first time today on Lost Island. Started out using a net gun but it broke free and got all up in my face so I had a hard time netting it again so it just came down to me and my Thylacoleo duking it out with this thing. They're really cool. But I get the feeling they're one of those tames that's better if you ride it, like the Deodon. Cause getting this thing home is a pain in the butt. Everytime it would attack something I'd lose track of it and find it down at the bottom of gorge or a waterfall somewhere picking a fight with something. Since they don't actually fly they won't come back to you if they get stuck somewhere.
I simply love your videos, and were the ones who taught me how to play this game. I always recommend your videos to everyone that asks about the best way to start in the game.
I have to disagree in your pronunciation of managarmr. If you notice, there's an r after the third a. So it's ma-na GAR-mr. Keep up the good work.
I think he pronounces it that way on purpose. If you notice, at the beginning of the video he made a point of pronouncing it correctly once, then just said Managamar for the rest of the video. I think that's what he called it when he first saw one, and it stuck.

Warning: Don't use a Managarmr on the Island Map. You could lose the Managarmr and all the gear on you. WC devs and Ced have known about this bug since March 2019. I lost mine at last month. And my best Rex in a cryopod. The devs and Ced haven't even acknowledged that this bug exists. You have been warned.

It's actually not a diminishing return, there is a cooldown on when you can refreeze. It seems to be 15-20 seconds.

We did 2 trap-tames today with a few failed attempts in between. Went rather smoothly on a no-mods private server. No one-shots. Hopefully it's been corrected.

First person I’ve seen to get it correct first try on managarmr in pronounciation
hey phlinger, i recently got tek armor unlocked (those boss fights....(shudder) ) but for some reason my tek armor wont automatically consume more element once the element it does have runs out( the chest piece specifically. i checked it before i went back to aberration(beat the island and scorched, cant wait to go to extinction :D ) and the percent that shows how much charge the armor has was at -60
is this a bug? or did i mess something up? i tried manually adding more element to the armor but it wouldnt work
As I look at this I have a ice wyvern and managarmr are the same size
Not everyone plays this game with crazy stats on so I'd trap it for sure
