Galliard String Quartet performs Nani Nā Pua (Beautiful Flowers of Ko‘olau) arranged by Angel Pena, and re-arranged to feature Hawaiian artist Raiatea Helm, in the Atherton Performing Arts Studio.
This Mele (song) was composed by Queen Liliʻuokalani when she was just a young princess, and her love for the land was evident in this first published composition. In this segment, the Galliard String Quartet performed pieces from their 1995 album "Songs of Liliʻuokalani"
