- CMH is proud to partner with the Friends of Iolani Palace for a virtual concert in celebration of Queen Lili‘uokalani’s birthday. Recorded and filmed on location at Iolani Palace, the ensemble performs some of the most iconic and loved songs that show the Queen’s artful songwriting and her love for her people, including the poignant and powerful songs composed during her imprisonment in Iolani Palace after the overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom: Ku‘u Pua I Paoakalani, and Ke Aloha O Ka Haku (“The Queen’s Prayer”).
Purchase a ticket for unlimited on-demand access to the virtual concert any time beginning September 2, 2021. The link will direct you to the Friends of Iolani Palace webpage, where you can securely purchase your ticket and support the Palace.
