1. On a positive note, thank you for making a video that’s not 20-30 minutes long filled with nonsense. People love to blabble forever about anything except the task at hand despite their videos being “tutorials.” You got straight to the point and saved everyone a load of time. You are a legend.
2. On an unfortunate note, I’ve followed this tutorial and another tutorial with this method, but I still get a MASSIVE abundance of messages saying model matching has failed when I log onto Vatsim. I just don’t understand. This sim is so infuriating. I miss X-Plane.

I had the same problem. The problem i had was that i placed the zip file into the community folder, instead of the file inside of that zip file. if you look inside of the file, you'll see another one with the exact same name. that's the one you have to put in the community folder. hope that helps.

Installed FS2020 with my free Xbox game pass trial just to see if it was worth it to switch from P3D and I was honestly not about to go through all those manager installations. So glad I found this video.

You, sir, are a hero of mine now! Having tried all sorts of useless installations and downloads, this worked absolutely wonderfully!! 98% of all planes in the game now have liveries on them!!
I cant thank you enough. I screwed over my AIG manager and i thought i was going to have to just bear with the crappy default liveries. Now I can see all sorts of different liveries and aircrafts. Thaaank youuuuu.

Would this work without VATSIM? I just do normal multiplayer with my friend and he uses the 737 and I'd really like to see it so we can get photos together.

when i did this method, other vatsim planes had a metal livery of just plain white.
Awsome it worked well...just one question, still i see weird AI traffic taxiing and coming infront of you in Taxi ways which is really a miss...how should i get rid of AI traffic which option i should switch off...?

Ok, I have a couple questions.. Is this only for MSFS or will this work for P3D also.. For awhile until all my UAL fleet come to MSFS. I will be running 2 different sims. Mainly on MSFS of course but say for my virtual UAL flight wants me to use a ERJ and there are no ERJ's currently for MSFS. i'm going to divert back to P3D so.. Will this also work on P3D as well ? Then other question if it doesn't I find a way to still use FLAI in P3D.. will that VMR go into vpilot as well I presume but will it create a conflict having 2 different VMR in one vpilot ?
so I see other aircrafts models have changed but my plane still with same default game livery :/ im using the xbox app for PC so i have no community folder for the zip file, plus after adding the vmr file it doesnt say "Model matching data check complete" help please
I download AIG on the GITHUB but when i unzip it , i only have ''aig-aitraffic-oci-beta'' i dont have CVT folder.

You are an absolute legend, I've been struggling with this for a while now, especially with the AI manager. I just installed everything wihtin 10 minutes. This was a very efficient tutorial, you've earned yourself a like and subscriber! Are you on discord by any chance?

Followed this tutorial but it doesnt seem to work for me I have the file in my community folder and have the vmr file enabled

Now working great that I've got the files in this folder.
@@ourduck I have it linked with addons linker to my community folder not sure if that makes a difference and it isnt in a extra header folder

did you change your community folder location and if you did how did you do it
Yes, I did when I installed MFS. I specified a different folder in the installation process.

No, vatsim doesn't add any more lag to the game unless you were at an airport with maybe a hundred other airplanes at once, which would have to be rendered. In my experience, there's no difference.

70% unknown airplanes and generic liveries..
That hasn't been my experience at all. Model matching is always hit or miss, but I've found the vast majority of planes I've seen have found a match
