Audi R8 Exhaust Valve Bypass / always open exhaust valves

Hi I’ve seen this mod done at the T piece on R8 Talk. Does this method you use cause any check engine lights? It looks much easier than the other approach as you only have 1 pipe to blank off.

Done 4k+ miles like this now and now check engine lights or any other issues.

I did this exact procedure yesterday and the check engine light came on today so I think there will be an issue on some cars unfortunately.
