This video was a Godsend. I needed to water cool a window air conditioner for my boat using lake water. I had been thinking about it for years but knew from past experience trying to tightly bend soft copper tubing never turned out well. After researching for a month I was about ready to give up then I ran into this video. Thanks to you and commenter Alan's suggestion it worked perfectly. I made a video of the entire process and gave you a shout out in the comments. Keep up the good work sir!

So its like filling it with sand but with extra step.If you use a wood block and drill a hole slightly larger than a od of your tubing ,then cut it in half with a hacksaw and put it in a lathe tool post you can use automatic feed (if you have it).Put a little bit of grease on the wood.I use same method for springs.

I can tell you that annealed seamless tubing works the best, even the heavy wall. That was my experience using the coiling jig on the lathe. Also, use a wooden handle guide makes perfect coils without any fuss.

the same idea of grease gun and watter is used to test the small high pressure compressor tanks , hydrobend the steel sheats etc

Just Silver Solder or weld the far end.
And on the grease gun end, again, turn a plug and tap it for the grease zirc.
    And away you go...

You need to use Hoke Gyrolok or Swagelok fittings specially made for SS tubing!

LOL bro the cost for those is out of the question and they are one time use then you gotta buy ferrals but yes you are correct they are quality parts , funny thing is i spoke about them in the first cut but edited it out

any idea how to run a thin enamel coated wire (aka "magnet wire") though the coil without scraping the enamel off due to rubbing over the bends ?

Hi there. I bought one of your Godzilla burners along time ago and just tryed to temp a crucible with it😅 sadly it shattered. Im a A little new to the crucible stuff. I had it in the oven at 100f for 3 hours thinking it would take out any trapped moisture. I started it up and slowly put the crucible in and it Took a big chunk off the bottom of it. I have one more but I wanted to ask how you get yours treated for you Godzilla burner? Like do you start off with a lower grade burner then as it gets to its max you switch it for the Godzilla Burner to heat its the rest of the way? I’m thinking next time to use my propane burner and then swap it out but I want to make sure that’s a great idea. I’ve see people put The crucible in the oven at 350f and use a propane burner that can be finely tuned but for the Godzilla burner it can’t be tune down as fine or at least I can’t get it to it seems to be either super hot or GOD DAMN...... that HOT! 😆 to simplify the question how do you get your crucibles ready for the Godzilla?
