- I finally was able to put on the new tires and rims. I got 27" mega mayhems tires, 27x9x12 in the front and 27x11x12 in the rear. And i wrapped them around ITP SS 212 rims, matte black.
If you haven't already noticed, the spring really does very little for power. You need to do the shim mod and some greaseless weights. I run 27' zillas and can pop wheelies in high with no jerking on the handlebars. Other than that, badass bike.
Love the snorkeled exhaust. Sucks when the exhaust goes underwater, lose lots of power (as you obviously know). Nice video.
Nice bike.I bought the same tires for my 2014 450 Kodiak but they were too big even with some fender trimming.Spare set for the renegade Xmr now
Nice, the mayhems have a similar tread pattern to the zillas. Ive always been impressed with the zillas i have on my grizzly 700, they work well in all terrains, except fast cornering. Amazing in the snow as well
yes i was really looking into the zillas but i decided to go with just a bit more agressive tire

Been considering a used grizzly but the boring looks put me off.....seeing those wheels and tires may have just convinced me to pull the trigger.

Nice! The new tires and rims makes your quad look mean. I`ve got 26 inch Big Horns on my Grizzly 700 and I like `em. Now I`m trying to convince my wife to let me put some on her 450 Kodiak :)

Your quad looks amazing! I also have a grizzly but its blue. Going to get some of these tires for myself soon. They change the whole look of the quad

@jaysin27ger did you have to lift the quad to be able fit those tires I’m looking into a putting bigger tires on mine just not sure what’s the biggest size I can go with out having to put a lift on the quad

Dude you didn't remove the lil black center cap on that very first wheel you changed the left front the rest you did..🤔.
You should have gotten 30" silverbacks or 29.5 outlaws they will fit stock. If you want to go mudding these are the tires to go with
I know what the silver back and outlaw tires are capable of, but i do a lot of trial riding, so if i got the bigger tires i would have to get a clutch kit and it would ruin the trail riding, also i save another 1000 just on axles.

Taylor Mascaro I did my research, i knew exactly how i was going to modd this bike, I mean if money didn't matter to me, i would just get a can am mud monster and i would also have a grizzly trail quad. But i had to cram both into one bike.
I dont like the exsaust dunno if there was a need for that but its a verry nice quad buy some one inch hub spacers

these tires are more of a mudding tire, but they do handle extremely well on dirt roads, even pavement. i didnt need a lift for these 27 inch tires, and there on 12 inch rims? thanks for watching.

i love these tires, and surprisingly they are great on trails and rocks, also the street. i strongly recomend these tires.

how much increase ground clearance on this tires mayhem 27 compared to standard 25?
not too much maybe an inch or so maybe a bit more.

they are a true 27 inches. I bought a set for my 450 Kodiak and tried them. A bit to big even with some fender trimming.I will go back to my 26 inch mudlite xtr which are great tires also.the mega mayhems are now a spare set for my renegade xmr

Yes I no they are, but if u go with outlaws you are adding a lot more weight in tires and for this small of an engine u need to add a full clutch kit, all new axles, and at that point I would add a lift to it too. But I didn't want that nor did I want to spend an extra 2 grand. Beside I do a lot more trail riding then mudding

EpilepsyWarning thank you for the respond I purchased them a while back and I have a stock grizzly and the tires don't rub for me but they are a little heavy so I had to buy a clutch kit and now its fine.

I just bought a 2020 grizzly 700se, it comes with 27 inch mayhams, totally hated them and put my 30 inch monstermayhams on that I kept from my 2015 sportsman 1000xp.
The monstermayhams are a way better tire, zillas kept hundreds of lil rocks stuck in the tread , no clutching and it's fine.

from the groundto the very top of the lug i would say its close to 27, i think they run a little short but, i could care less they are still a strong mud tire.
