I prefer the detail and the unique sculpts found in the mcu designs, but I did skip Eternals so they aren’t all on the same level and story really impacts how I feel about the figure.
got the entire wave for $15 each, w/ wal-marts sale, so not bad, including the BAF..but would have passed @$20 price point
I'd be willing to pay up to $10 for this figure. Not a penny more. I honestly wish someone would do a line of kung fu figures, like archetypes from old kung fu films. That would be really cool.
I still like the movie figures, but i use them for custom fodder. I don't keep them as they are.
I like the movie based marvel legends as well as the comic based marvel legends 👍

I was never interested in movie figures because there is no end to it. Feels like there’s always gonna be something new and better to replace the old in a relatively short span of time.

I’ve lost interest in movie figures too after End Game. I used to buy them all. Havnt bought any in a while. Now, if they release more No Way Home figures I’ll buy
I've lost interest in the movie designs.
Outfits are rarely similar to the comic designs, and it's frustrating how far they've deviated. Like Shang Chi for example, the only thing in common is that it's red. That's it.
The last MCU design that I really like a lot was probably Cap's design in Winter Soldier. That was a faithful and believable adaptation.
Sorry to break your bubble but most of costumes in comics are ridiculous at best. In movies that are set in real life can't afford to have such stupid looking desings

There are some absurd outfits in film. Most of them are. Take Spider-Man from Civil War or Homecoming, Vision, Black Panther, Star Lord, or Captain Marvel. Those are ridiculous, but the movies do a fairly good job at staying true to the design and they look good and believable.
But every now and then they drop the ball and give us stuff like Shang Chi or the Eternals.
And they've been getting worse. Look at Black Panther in CW vs his solo movie, Spiderman in CW vs NWH, or Iron Man in CW vs Infinity War.
In my case, i liked this figure.
I think that they should make action figures based on the movie authentic and real and what a lot of possibility

I only like movie figures that fit in with the 616 figures, and figures based on movies I actually like.
The only Marvel Legends movie figures I got were the ones from the Guardians of the Galaxy.
I considered getting the X-men movie figures, but I didn't like those movies enough to get the figures.

the mcu has stopped looking like the comics alot of the times the colors are muted and the verity is lacking and worst the movies are starting to efect the comics instead of the movies being based of comics
I’ve never really been that much into the MCU figs in the first place tbh. They are sort of a little bonus/side display for me, a small fraction of my large ML collection overall. And yes I agree, the boring designs is a major reason for that.
