Post class, have a buddy drill the day's lesson and after a few times, it should be enough for you tube able to note down the importance of the move. Break it down to categories like: sweeps from..... passes from side control..... mount submission.
i know this is a pathetic question that only white belts would ask but can u make a video on why you shouldnt try and tap someone while in there guard?
+cheeser210 Hey Cheeser210! No question is pathetic if you're trying to gain knowledge from. To answer your question, in the beginning stages of the game, the change of you (or anyone) trying to tap someone who is in your guard is a extremely low percentage however it is not something you can't try. Proper timing, position, and technique being use, you can def. tap someone out in your guard. I won't necessarily avoid it. I would however really try to drill the heck out of a good submission to a high submission percentage. Keep in mind, while someone is in my guard, i don't only have their collar, i have their lapel, my own lapel, one arm sunk in their collar, etc... Good question. If someone is in your guard, my advise, SWEEP! it's there and will help you get to a better position to work on your attack! Hope this helps
