There are seven core beliefs of Hinduism are which is Brahman (ultimate reality) or GOD, Dharma (righteous living), Karma (action and consequence), Samsara (cycle of rebirth), Moksha (liberation), Atman (individual soul), and Maya (illusion). Atman is Brahman. So essentially we are the cells of god in a sense. The different gods you see in different temples are essentially just alternate representations of the one true god. There’s only one god in Hinduism. But there are many avatars to represent that one true god. Not all Hindus have same traditions or pray to same avatar but at the end of the day the 7 core beliefs are applied to all. And each avatar is just limb of the one true god.
