- Let me introduce some of the great Bartolini Pickups.
I recorded this bass cover song in 2019 remembering the great Howard Smith with the song : Perfect Love.

Outstanding playing and incredible tone!!!!!!!! The passive tone is unbelievable! I was going to replace my 1st gen Sire V7 5 pickups with Bartolini 57CBJD3s but I might change my mind and get these!!!

@@moisesmanzano9671 Yes! I got the Bartolini 57CBJD3's. They sound amazing!!! I expected an improvement over the Sire pickups but it was a big improvement especially in passive mode! I'm very impressed and glad I had them installed!
@@Bassic778super late. Thinking about switching pickups in my v7 as well. Were these pickups a direct swap or did you have to modify the bass for them to fit?
@@Ben-ic1ve According to my luthier friend who installed them, they almost fit but he had to do a tiny bit of routing in the pickup slots.
I’m Bartolini shopping and researching some tone samples.. this is selling me!

Hello, What pre-amp are you using? Looking for a different sound currently, I'm using a Bartolini (3 bands) with Med-lights pre-amp with S.I.T. Strings, I was using lights (40-120) all the strings did was rattle & buzz and had brittle tone and lows were not happening, just switched to med-lights (45-125) waiting to see how they feel and sound, are playing passive of so they sound great, (I will give passive a try) thanks
