Based on the rumors, since the film will explore Clark struggle with his kriptonian heritage and the human lessons, I think the villain could be the Erradicator, with the plot taking inspiration from classic sci-fy film like The Iron Giant. The Erradicator could arrive on Earth and, at first, be friendly towards Superman, since his main goal is to protect kryptonians and their legacy. However unlike Clark, Erradicator has very logical view of things and after witnessing villains like Luthor, who aren't punish for their crimes and research about humanity history, he comes to the conclusion that humanity is corrupt and tries to push Superman to abuse his powers and force Earth to adopt Krypton culture, which Clark is against, claiming there's good people and that they don't have the right to impose their will on others. Agreed
Gorilla grodd maybe? Or even Amazo
Still hoping for Brainac, but there are other villians I would love, like Lobo (but not momma, there's been nothing to suggest he will be Lobo, aside from one thing, and there's no reason for Lobo to be an elseworld story) lex, but not the main villian, Metalo and toy man.
I don’t know if everyone knows this, but Superman WONT be 25, so don’t worry. He’s gonna be in his mid thirties and he’ll be a few years younger than Batman but still close in age.
Steve Harvey as Lex Luthor🤐
I hope it’s Parasite. It would show general audiences a new villain they’re unaware of because James loves that like WHO THE HELL IS THE AUTHORITY? I THOUGHT THE LESSER KNOWN CHARACTERS WERE GETTING TV SHOWS!
i don't see deathstroke in chapter 1. we're getting one batfamily project, and it's about batman and damien. deathstroke is either a titans villain or a 1 on 1 combat partner for batman. i think gunn would lean towards the former, given his universe starts with dick as nightwing (and, if he is to be included at all, a dead/undead jason todd). so, while i think your analysis and commentary here are great, i disagree with your deduction that brainiac will not be in chapter 1
Due to his ties to the US government, I wouldn't be that suprised if Slade showed up in waller
Yeah, Brainiac is tied in with the Supergirl Woman of tomorrow movie...so I don't think he'll be the main villain of Superman Legacy but possibly the main villain of Justice League imo
BRAINIAC is such an OBVIOUS choice
Ultra-Humanite is more of a Flash villain
Can you make a dc marvel shared cinematic universe video ?
I kind of agree with you but that again I kind of don't I do believe free action should be the main villain Because he has a little bit of a history He doesn't connect with General Zod in super man and if we're doing a Legacy background story My 1st pick would have to be brainiac. Because he has A lot of the connections Too superman Any part of the history of itself that needs to be back to you Just before crypton was Destroyed.
Parasite and lobo like in the tommrowverse superman movie.
brainiac seems too much of a big threat, I know he is overused but lex still makes the most sense
brainiac has been a main enemy of superman so often. that’s why he should be the superman trilogy concluding villain definitely not the first
@@talentroller4413 plus he's a justice League threat he can be the big bad of the whole new Dceu because he can also mind control solar powered Kryptonians
Brainiac is a JL villain
The alpha male (Superman) vs toxic masculinity (Lex Luthor) having a problem with strong males. The Matrix (braniac) problem, societies vs the individual. Free will vs. fate. Or the true enemy death anti-life equation (Darkseid).
Studios don't want to use a wild character like Brainiac because the CGI and s*** will look like s***
Lex Luther has been done to death, just like the joker. Start the movie off with metallo or parasite.
as much as i want brainiac, i don't think he's a good starting villain. such a big character needs to be saved for later. it's like a justice league movie that uses darkseid as the main villain right away. it's just too soon
It should be Mxyzptlk and I don't care what anyone else says.
Why don't they use Brainiac? Seriously,
WTF is with these stupid studios and their reluctance to use Brainiac as a bloody main villain in a Superman film? I am sick of their excuses!!!
Now, with that said, while I love to see Braniac appear on the big screen, I personally want to see the Parasite make his big screen debut and face Superman. Parasite has loads of potential, and I want to see the potential used in a good Superman film. I want to be hopeful but so far, Gunn keeps disappointing me with his comments and decisions
MICHAEL ROSENBAUM is the best Lex Luthor!!
Lobo
No Mr. Mxy?
He’d be so fun!
I’d like to see him mess with Superman while Supes has to deal with Lobo.
Something tells me those 2 villains would work well on the same movie.
