All the little alleys remind me of Victorian London you see in some many films and pictures etc, and Frying Pan Lane, 😂😂😂 love that. And you are right Darren that is a “Pub Pub” not many traditional boozers left, there are a lot of Gastro pubs around these days, Great interesting video, a big thumbs up 👍 from me 😆😉
You fall in love with that pub straight away, crooked, bent and geometrically unsound, love it :) Food looks fatastic too. Lovely trip around Spitalfields, Thanks :)
Hi Darren I've really enjoyed watching your videos on your travels around London, we have been twice and stayed in Spittalfields. We were on Brick Lane and never even went for a curry because we had so much to see and do! next time we will go to City Spice and hubby will definitely be going to Humble Crumble he loves a Rhubarb Crumble. You have showed us best places for breakfasts, street food and Pie & Mash thankyou for giving us a wonderful insight into amazing London City I have fell in love with the place xxx
There is all the main markets you mentioned, but there is of course all the markets outside the stations, Barking, Whitechapel, along bethnal green road... Unbelievable how diverse and what's on offer in London and it's suburbs... Amazing. ( That was all in a couple of hours I was there by the way)
Hi Darren. Great video. Love your choice of music. Thankyou for showing us around. I would love to visit London. I haven’t been for about 25 years. Maybe next year 🤞.
Darren, your videography in this one is fantastic....your artistic eye was fabulous. This could be your best technical one yet. Great to see places to visit too..Loved it. Thank you.😍
A nice choice of music Darren, Great to see around the places you film. Thanks pal. Rick, oh and what is funny is you now look at the camera and not the phone. I still cant do that haha. you are ahead on that one. All the best
Fantastic to come across this vid from the vault Darren, The Boy played a blinder yet again, so interesting to see a part of london i havnt been to in the past. But all captured in the Channel's extrordinary way, sublime, sophisticated and select . Always a joy to watch and learn in a unique way that only DJ can illustrate... My great Pal here in Thailand who has a channel too ( Rides 4 kickz), loucous is a big bike fan and enjoys your content too. Regards Big Cee
Loved this vlog Darren Gorgeous area & classy shops So many wonderful markets & sights to see in London we will just have to visit Well done & Thank You for showings us around xx👍💕
Love the old pubs of London, so much history. One of my favourites is Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese off Fleet Street, like stepping back in time. Not been to Spitalfields in years, great to see it. Cheers
Darren, loving your channel and can't wait to visit all the places you visit. The pub you showed us today us incredible! Thank you for your description too. Congratulations on your 1000 subs and here's to your next 10,000. Thank you!

Just stumbled across your channel, really enjoying your content, love seeing London. How often to you get mistaken for Trevor Eve, London on a Shoestring (one for the kids) has to be a future vlog.
Hi Darren why so many animal statues there. Especially was wondering about the elephant ones. I also wanted to say thank you for doing these. I'm suffering from long covid and can't hardly walk so watching your vlogs is great ty
Great vlog Darren. A mate of mine worked for HSBC by Aldgate East, spent many a lunchtime in the pub with him. Surprisingly cheap considering the location. Take care. Congrats on 1k subs.
Your vlogs are lovely to watch Darren, never knew London is so beautiful, used to go a lot when I was a child. My hubby works there a lot so he hates it because of the traffic and the time it takes him to get through it. 😂
a few years ago we had an airfield about 10 mins away from my house with a "car " it made it so easy to travel just like take a weekend in London was super easy and the flight ticket cheap like nothing and it was pretty fast to get there just a maybe total travel time around two hours from home to hotel, but next summer we going to visit London or Liverpool or maybe both if the vaccines work as the should and it is all free to go:) thumbs up from Norway :)
The Hoop and Grapes metaphor for Haemorrhoids. Not so sure want drink or eat there back door Darren hahahahahahaha food in that house looked fantastic...........There is only a handful pubs left in Edinburgh not gastro.........I will get lambasted for this but Wetherspoons is way ok................The Halfway House in Edinburgh up the cobbled steps.......fit a dozen people in max...........I remember the time they had a trough for take a winkle in the bar as you stood.....pure spit and sawdust.............risk your life with a pie I guess hahahahahaha. Great footage lovely back drop
@@DarrenJohn Dont worry bro I drunken rant most times but true..........John Lydon im wish he well and his beloved. What I should have said is 2 things my mind make that 3.......Food, music and Beer cant keep me happier with that.
Hi Darren, i think you would find it very interesting if you walk from Liverpool street station towards moorgate, There's an escalater which takes you about 30 feet above street level, it is part of the Barbican on the walk is part of the Roman Wall a school graves of plauge victims and a lake almost football pitch size, it ends up at the Museum of London and ST Paul's. John. 👍
