The chow line for me when I was in basic consisted of my platoon going through an obstacle course before we ate chow. Good old Sergeant Porter physical fitness nute, also consisted of plenty of pushups throughout the day. Of course that was 1984

I miss basic training. Was the best experience of my life. I love being under pressure. I always had something to do.
The first couple days are shitty, especially being in the schizophrenic reception barracks. But after a couple weeks, it really is a good time.
I hated being under pressure, drill sergeants yelling right in my fucking face🤣🤣
