There was a huge backlash when Apple wanted to become a fashion company during the first Apple Watch launch. That plain failed miserably and she was a part of it, together with Ive. Based on the looks alone, she might have not been able to withstand the pressure of the directors board - probably she'd rather drink a bottle of wine than be constantly available for work.
Also, she caused the Apple Store to become more unfriendly and chaotic, with an obstructed path to purchasing merchandise. Under her reign, Apple had significantly tarnished reputation in the PR department.
Wow she sounds incredible! Big huge vision - and executing on the big trajectory to use Apple's tools to better educate and equip future generations. I am only 2 min into this segment, but just hearing her speak so passionately about the Town Square concept where everyone was welcome -- not just shoppers -- that's true vision and leadership. Nothing we see from most of Silicon Valley still obsessed by social media and its derivatives. Here is a true leader- and I will have to listen further now to see "what happened?"...At the moment I imagine it was a corporate culture gap between the mission she was executing on and the beancounter culture that Apple seems to have become. I'll see if that is right, or if I am wrong about why she is leaving.
Typical ageism comment - I am certain your sorry ass didn't even watch and listen to the whole interview. She was executing a brilliant vision. Not just pushing out next gen gaming, VR and social media crap you probably OD on daily.
quicksite Been following Apple since its inception ....have a major investment in Apple as well.... have you walked into an Apple store and tried to get service recently you trolls? Good luck trying to flag a sales associate.... the only thing she did that's been good (and the jury's still out on that) is "Today at Apple" .....
I've had better customer service experiences at Walmart than Apple. I've interacted with Apple store employed many times over the years and it's an exceptionally bad experience most of the time.
This is not a good interview...she basically didn't tell anything practical or insightful...and seemed she got upset easily...no wonder she left the company
as she said that's not why she was there. probably they didn't told her about what they will ask and she got fooled a bit. so who wouldn't be annoyed. do you know how the media works? It was just squeezing her for infos for headlines.
So this is the lady that earned more money than Tim Cook? For some reason, I had always envisioned her as a blonde bombshell. But she is just a typical mid-age lady. I think most of the photos circulating in the net shows what she use to look like. She is not aging like a fine wine, I'd say. I guess those nerdy looking glasses are not doing her any good either.
I love how she carries herself.
I kinda like her...wish she would come back to Apple
no idea she left Apple. When did this happen and why did she leave?-
Kicked out for non-performance.

*Genius bar*
Why are all these reporters these days so shrill and annoying?
She has morphed into a female Tim Cook.
I know I am pretty randomly asking but does anybody know of a good place to watch new series online ?
@Devon Mauricio i watch on flixzone. You can find it on google =)
@Richard Jude definitely, been using Flixzone for months myself :D
@Richard Jude thanks, I went there and it seems to work =) I appreciate it !
@Devon Mauricio you are welcome :D
Please create and sell great products ansd stop influencing „communities“. Thank you.
Interviewer was not very good.
What are those things in her ears? Is she having health issues? She looks thinner. She looked heavier a few months back. Hope she’s ok
She’s wearing the latest generation airpods
They are studio earpieces so she can hear the reporter. Some studios have older earpieces than newer ones

She clearly doesn't understand Steve Jobs. Too many old people working at Apple is slowly bringing down the big ship.

@@quicksite please read more books about Steve before making ignorant comments
She did not grow Apple Reail.... Ron Johnson was the genius behind Apple reatil....she was paid a fortune and she basically failed
@@jorgearellano9204 I'm sure he doesn't know shit. A better answer would come from a google search of course/

Steve is dead and the world has changed.
tbh only watched for blonde babe
You're typical of dumbshit nation. She was trying to serve people with more than just shiny devices to buy.
@@quicksite i can buy her??
Crapple we don't fix problems we just sell you more crapple.

If it happens over and over again, the problem is likely you then, not them.
@@techpolitics How so, when that's not my experience in most other stores of all kinds. Maybe my expectations are higher when I'm at Apple.
