That plants in your pictus' enclosures are hedera helix? I've heard that if it is ingested they can harm your reptiles, but pictus are insectivorous. It is safe to use hedera helix for strictly insectivorous reptiles?

Questions...so as soon as I get a female abronia graminea for my Male and then a calico pair I wanted to setup a big enclosure for a cool different gecko breeding colony and stumbled upon these guys. They seem priced well , they aren't very common and they are beautiful. I was going to also breed crested geckos but for the time being I want to keep it simple and to just two different species that are really cool and uncommon. So abronia and these panther geckos are what I'm kind of settling on. So I guess my question is how many can I house together as a "breeding colony"? I was kind of thinking 1 Male and 3 females. Keep in mind the enclosure will be plenty big. Thanks ! Also a leopard gecko colony is still a choice as well since I did so well with them before plus I really like all the new diversity on the morphs and their demeanor. Any other geckos you could think of that do well in small colonies you might be able to think of is well appreciated to.

I love your videos. I was lucky enough to work at the Nashville Zoo way back in the early 90s, where we worked with several species of Uroplatus and was lucky enough to see some of the first captive bred henkeli and finbriatus in the US. I can tell you would do it for nothing, but do you make any profit from your collection? Thanks

Generally I keep my pair together all year round. If they show signs of aggression then I would separate them. Thanks for watching!

Captive bred panther geckos generally cost between 40-60 dollars I'd say.
