Implosion │ Tallest Building In My City

This is 420 Main Street, a vacant building that was imploded in Evansville Indiana. It was the tallest building for miles. The implosion took place on November 21st, 2021. Everything went well, as expected, according to plan. I managed to get two of the best angles. As mentioned in the video the implosion was completely controlled with heavy police presence. Enjoy!

WOW!!! I have some good memories of that building, the bank, the Petroleum Club, Christmas party, appreciation luncheon, Birthday lunch, and so much more. That part of the landscape is now gone.

I would have liked to see them repair and renovate the building and keep it, or at least build something as tall in its place but that is not happening.
