I work primarily with 40in/100cm synthetic wigs light in colour that I have to combine together so the weft tracks don't show through and then go through the combined wig with a razor and shears to manually thin it out, but these shearing scissors work so great and are such a life/time savor!!!
I did this without twisting but on the inside first. You can see some cuts on the inside but not the outside. I should of twisted 😆 it would of solved that issue.
I guess because the manufacturers want customers to keep buying them regularly. Imagine if they do this will you be needing to buy them as often as you should?! Just saying though. I don’t know for certain
@@divabyqbwigs Well, I mean, a long wig that this hasn't been done to, in my experience, is just completely unusable. Brush out the tangles, put it on, all the tangles are back. I'm not saying this doesn't work, I'm just puzzled as to why they don't do this.

Hi Danielle, sorry to hear that, but there are different reasons why this happens. If you are wearing Synthetic Wigs, it is due to the fiber in them, however you can reduce frizzing by using the hack shared in this video. Another tip is to use leave in conditioner as this helps to keep your wig soft and moisturized and prevent it from being dry. Lastly you need to comb or brush your wigs as often as needed. I hope this helps.

What is the purpose of twisting the hair before cutting it, compared to cutting it without the twisting?
It just helps to give a better trim versus doing it straight. The aim is for the cuts to be uneven to mimic that of human hair.
Am I able to use a straightener for my synthetic wig? Cuz I heard we shouldn't use it on synthetic wigs.. But I really need to fix my synthetic wig
You can but you have to put it on low to medium heat.
But my Synthetic hair has a curly consistency. I can't use a straightener on it but thank you. The trick is to use the shearing scissors.

Yes it won’t. It might still get frizzy especially if it is dry, hence why you need the leave in conditioner or serum but will never matte again. 😊
