I was wondering about growing carrots in a self wicking pot. Mainly because of how they cannot ever dry out during germination, which is so long. Do you think that would work?
Hi Elaine. Unfortunately they all grew stunted. I don't know why but that was my first time doing tendersweet. I am going back to Danvers carrots where I had much success but I replanted three weeks ago and something ate them all. So starting from scratch all over again
I like your idea of growing things in pots. I have carrot seeds and will use your foil tip. Have a nice weekend. 🥕🥕
Thanks Alan! I'm sure your carrots will be stellar. Have a great weekend!
Aloha Misty this was very interesting with growing carrots, can’t wait to see you harvest them in October
Thanks so much Paula! I'll show them when they're ready. Hopefully they'll be good. 😊

Nice video!
Very quickly please... how many seedlings are allowed in a 5 gallon bucket?
Thank you for sharing.
I never knew that about tin foil. Will definitely do this as we were thinking of growing carrots
Awesome! Let me know how it comes out when you do grow them.
@@HawaiiUrbanGardener will do. 👍🏻
Hi Misty, how did the harvest of Carrots go? Hopefully they were plentiful!😉
