I did this last year to my 60. What a change. When I did mine I only took the right side frame rail off as well. My air box was the biggest PITA to remove. 1 inch was what i took off the new hose

I took about an inch off the hose as well. Surprisingly the air box came out pretty easy for me just had to pull up on it with a little force.

Thanks for the video. What do you recommend to lift the bike before taking those frame rods out?
I just used a $70 motorcycle jack from Amazon to be able to lift it up. Bolts easily came out.
