- Here is "Ya Never Know" from the September 23, 2003 preview performance of the original Broadway production of "Little Shop of Horrors" at the Virginia Theatre in New York.
After the failed Florida try-out earlier in the year, the video of which is posted here ( • Video ), the show was totally scrapped and reproduced from the ground up, with a new director (Jerry Zaks), new choreography, new set-design, and a new cast. Virtually the only element to survive the move to Broadway was the casting of Hunter Foster (fresh off of the musical URINETOWN) in the role of Seymour Krelborn.
The cast also features Trisha Jeffrey as Crystal, Carla J. Hargrove as Ronnette, DeQuina Moore as Chiffon, and Rob Bartlet as Mushnik.

I love how he's not willing to talk about Twoey's diet except here, in front of the girls, who are actually interacting with the scene here, unlike in _Git It_ or _Suppertime_, where they're just narrating.
They are muses, so they're only meant to help push the plot fowrward. Like, the black girls from Hercules
Underrated song from an underrated musical ❤️🔥
So excited gonna be mushnik for our upcoming little shop of horrors musical
Same here man
I’m auditioning for Audrey tomorrow, I’m so excited - I love this musical so much!!

I played Mr. Mushnik in my school's production
I’m Seymour in my schools production of Little shop of horrors and I was playing with the plant in a rehearsal (like how he was doing in the video) and my artistic director said I was doing too much??
Feed him to the Tooey
i agree with the other guy. the plant is hungry
Is this the first selfie ever?
Wasn't the original Broadway production in the 1980s?
Off-broadway. The musical had not been performed on Broadway until this 2003 production.
@@LittleShopArchive ah I did have a feeling about that even before I commented. Thanks.
