- Many patients who suffer from erectile dysfunction have a question regarding the duration of treatment of erectile dysfunction? This video is about the same question as to whether this issue can be treated permanently with medication and the modern system of medicines or not. The answer to this depends on the reason of erectile dysfunction. For patients who have psychogenic erectile dysfunction, it may be quite easy to treat the election problems permanently. However if there has been a delay in treatment or the cause of erectile dysfunction is organic which means that either the artery, the sponge or the veins of the penis are damaged then it may be difficult to completely cure erectile dysfunction with medicines especially if the patient has presented very late and a lot of permanent damage has already taken place.
