Puglia is a true Italian Jewel.....Thank you for sharing.
Hi Charlie! It really is! You are so welcome!
@@SuperSavvyTravelersLLC Many years ago...I spent 6 months in a lovely town outside of Bari...Acquaviva delle Fonti...Alas, not on the coast...but the countryside was very bucolic....I remember one Spring in Puglia...it was out of this world as nature was blooming in all types of colors and fragrances....There is also a very nice little coastal town just outside Fasano, called Torre Canne...Loved it....

Interesting little town. Your description mentions great property values but I didn't see any specific examples. Are you going to share some examples you may have seen there?
Hi Loren yes we will. This was to familiarize you with the area.
@@SuperSavvyTravelersLLC great. We love that area of Puglia but agree Polignano is very expensive. Although very beautiful
It's gorgeous. I love going to the seaside towns in Puglia! Thanks for sharing. Interested to see what you come up with.
Thank you Chris! Today we were at Ikea in Bari and Polignano a Mare, Another amazing seaside town!
Well came back to Italy...are you moving from Santa Domenica Talao?
Hi Isidoro, SDT will always be our home. We all be spending time here though as we have a lot to show you here.
Enjoy your adventure! ❤🎉🇮🇹
Thank you Rosa!
I like that there are waterfront bike paths. I seem to recall that Scalea has them too, right?
Starting at minute 10:50, you show two gelatos with signs marked "(something) stevia". Do you know if that means they are made with stevia, not sugar? Or does stevia mean something else in Italian? Google Translate says stevia = stevia, but they look really fancy for no-sugar-added. As you know here in the US, sugar-free flavors served at ice cream shops are usually limited to plain vanilla, plain chocolate, and sometimes butter pecan. 😭
Hi! Scalea does not have bike paths that I have seen but it is not difficult to bike there. From what I have seen here Stevia is stevia. They do have these sweeteners everywhere here. I am sure that this is what they mean.
I see on Google that there is a beach club just south of town, but I also see people on the shore at the north end of town. Maybe it's free to sit there, although whenever they took the photo there was a swell at that beach, so it may not be great for swimming.
I like that waterfront road is bike friendly at least down to Cozze, and maybe up to the north aways.
I have been looking around Pescara up further north because they have a 30 mile bike path separate from cars along the water. I think there is also a fast train that runs down to Bari and up somewhere north, maybe Bologna, or near Venice.
I have been really awestruck that every place I have been interested in has been so cool with really nice details everywhere you look.
Hi Ken, Yes! And you can swim here in Mola. I will find out where as I intend to come visit in Summer as well. I a so happy you found the bike paths! And yes the train is only about 20 minutes to Bari and very easy to get on and off. This place is very well serviced.
Thank you 🎉 brrrrr!
Oh that was the cold snap last year! It was way too cold all over Italy!
Very pretty area.
It really is!
if there is a NutraSi store there, I'll add it to my list of possibilities. Bari itself has several.
Hi! I see there is one here close to the Centro Storico.
Best kept secret in southern Italy
We think so too! Such a beautiful community!
Do you help people purchase property around Bari also?
Yes we are lining up agent associates now.
Good, I am looking at a this property in Carbonara di Bari but I’m still in the U.S. for now. Do you inspect property for clients for a fee?
Are there any colleges near these villages?
There are conservatories in Bari which is one 20 minutes away buy train. And they have a university there.
👍🏾💖
Thank you Mercy!
Love that town. Too bad it doesn’t fit the 7% tax area
Yes there is that. Super pretty though!
Hi, what does the 7% tax area mean, sounds important:) thanks !
@@r.com.9795 there is a tax break for retirees in towns with less than 20,000 people in southern areas. 7% flat tax for ten years. Saves a lot.
Snow????!!!!!!!???!!!
I know!!! It did not stick but it was COLD!!!
As a non-turisty costal city in the province of Bari I recommend Molfetta, it has a very nice cobblestone historic centre, and it's close to other nice places plus to what I believe is the biggest outlet in Puglia (the name is "Puglia village")
Oooo! Thank you! We will definitely go check it out! We will be back in Puglia in a couple of weeks!
