Enjoying you being back on the vise Jason, you really do have some of the best tying videos for steelhead. Always a pleasure to be in the shop as well. Cheers
You made that ostrich loop look easy.. that’s one of few I have a hard time working with. I’ve resorted to just using clumps as a wing 🤷♂️🤦♂️😂 I’ve been loving the deer hair in a loop tho. Which would seem more difficult.. super fun technique. Great videos as always 👌
The little nano light struggles. The bench light is good, but you'll have to check the battery often. If the battery is low, it will still light the LED, but won't do whatever voodoo it needs to cure. Try a fresh battery and see if it cures for you.
@@theportlandflyshop I was thinking battery issue. What about the notion of different lights for different resins … ie loon or solareze. Do you need a light for each brand?

Thanks so much! Had to take a long break for personal reasons, but good to be back. See ya soon! Hopefully on a river

Thanks, Jason!
Thanks for watching and supporting!
Nice looking Fly ... I don't know what it is but I hate working with Ostrich
when everything goes right, it's great and easy. When it goes wrong, it really goes wrong, lol
are you a fan of the loon uv light. I've got a small loon travel light it does not seem to set the resin. Thoughts?

I haven't found that to be necessary at all. The loon light will cure everything I've used so far, including pro, solrez, and raidzap
💪🔥👍👍🎄🍾🥂
