Zola's face in 0:36 is actually a pretty subtle nod to his comic appearance and a hint to his future in the MCU

Zola was originally set to appear in the 2015 film Ant-Man, with concept art suggesting he downloaded a copy of his artificial intelligence to an android body akin to the comics but never happened.
Turns out, according to What If. Zola made back up copies of his mind stored somewhere else.
Should've been tech that Pym and Stark later use to make Ultron.
I like him. I like his shtick of being a highly advanced scientist who was able to transfer his conscience into a robot body so he could live forever.
We need Arnim Zola to return as a Robot in the Future!!!

Fun Fact: Arnim Zola in Avengers Assemble is voiced by Mark Hamill aka Luke Skywalker from the original and sequel trilogy of Star Wars

What he says in the end is so true lol
in winter soldier, he explains how affter ww2 the gov began project paperclip and hid him with the other nazi scientists, while he played double: using america's morality and freedom as fuel for his vision of Hydra's greatest achievment, world dominination. It disgusts me to think that every time we were singing the national anthem, he was singing along with us, laughing the lyrics. Even tho its just a movie, this character is so evil that it makes him more realistic than most of the greatest of Marvel with no superpowers, just a brain being kept on by tech. His motives and actions are so realistic, its truly scary.
Damn, Mark Hamil has voiced both Red Skull and Arim Zola. Just needs Baron Zemo and he'll have done the Hydra 3.

He was great in Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes cartoon. Sucked in the MCU adaptations. I find the actor annoying
I did not think he was annoying. He was actually creepy. Zola was barely used in EMH but used very well in Ultimate Spidey
