I have an interesting idea for a WA for this fight, There will be a tierlist for all raidmembers, and so no matter who you get linked to, the person higher on the tierlist will be the leader, and the lower one will be the simp, which will automaticly be yelled by ur character, So the leader does the mechics and the simp just follows, it makes deciding where to go twice as fast

Its the closest thing to a modern Patchwerk-style fight and they acknowledged how it's more than that. WoW will never see a raid boss again that is simply tank and spank with no movement. This isn't 2008.

A boss not having any adds in it is not a patchwerk fight. A patchwerk fight is a boss with only tank mechanics. This boss is a tight dps race. If everyone stays alive and manages their cooldowns during the 100% increased damage time, this boss should pose no problems. This boss challenges your timing and resource management. I love tight DPS checks, best fights in the game for me because in MY opinion, skill in WoW is not in overcoming mechanics, but rather actually optimizing how the DPS use CDs (while also dealing with mechanics) Which just IS the hardest part of raiding for the majority of players.
thats becuse most mechanics in wow are stupid and easy. if they actually involved movement like jumping over a laser climbing(ie jumping to a specific spot by jumping to diffrent pillars to get to the highest peak etc. most mechanics are stand here avoid this, soak this. one move away from group. those 4 are basicly the mechanics wow uses, they never invent new mechanics wich is really bad. and on the dps and healing checks yes you are right somewhat but getting high dps numbers or healer numbers its not hard. following movement and great mechanics is way harder than hitting x number of buttons in correct order especially with all addons and guides even a dummie can do that. You be fooling yourself if you think dealing high dps is hard or getting high amount of HPS. if you played yourself in any highend raiding world first guild ever competing for world first. when he enrages i bet it would absolutely smack because the tank will be taking double the auto attacks and then 20% increased in damage with double the rate of attacks. It would have to be a pretty beefy boi
They literally mentioned the tanks having to stack in ordet to not get hit twice, But instead spread the dmg to each tank. Don’t Think it’s solo tankable :D
ranged linked together "they do move in herds..." to be honest... the chain link is a joke to me.. 10 yards is a fucking huge range... it's not like 5-6 yards, it's 10 and that's a lot of wiggle room unless you're matched with a derp hunter
Yes, it is true what you say. Nonetheless, i think the main problem is not about space, but coordinating every move with your chain-partner while also paying attention to the other mechanics. Not to mention, it will easily cause fights between players, framing each other, but i guess thats the norm with some toxic players.
