The "masochist" bir serms to relate to his enjoymenr of the controversy and cutting away of all his support systems in an attempt to reinvent himself. Loved your reaction. I think it is spot on.
Thank you ❤ for your Ren - Masochist 🔥reaction! This time I did not miss that subscribe 🔔 button, whatever happened there before. Great catching the stacked by the Kee-Gee. I think that must be Kg Feat Richie Stack$ - Take A Look y2u.be/GL_Xstt6Uhk ... caveat for any reader: I am no Rap professor, only got introduced through Ren's recent music releases! Samsara is everything that hinders you from reaching Nirvana. To non-Budhists, that's the "real world". To reach Nirvana, you need to abstain from or kill Samsara. It rings a bell with a Zen saying: "If you see the Buddha, kill him." Which fits this song like a glove. When you seek to reach Nirvana, you should not meet or follow the Buddha, he is Samsara to you. So you need to kill him.
This is one of my absolute Ren favourites for all the references and shout-outs, especially in the first half. I did a half-a-day breakdown of all the links that I could find, you find it in the comments under the original video.
Fantastic reaction as always! Just for a little bit more context.... In his 1 million-subscriber thank you speech, (I highly recommend that you watch/react to it). I may be paraphrasing slightly, but Ren advised those “feeling hate against their fellow man”, to feel that hate/pain, express it, then let it go and find new peace. Seems like he is taking his own advice in Masochist and Lost All Faith. He has said that he wrote them a couple of years ago during his darkest times, then took that pain, disillusion, desperation, depression and frustration and expressed it in songs about killing the whole world and losing his faith with everything. He created art. I’m in awe.🤯
Thank you, I will watch that million sub video for sure
I really appreciate you pointing out the references to the hip hop songs and artists.
I am 56 and brought into the world of hip hop by Ren.
These are connections that I wouldn't ever get without reactors such as yourself.
The song was WAY dark.
It's music definitely fits the vibe.
The lyrics were clever as always.
The INTENSE dark energy, was a bit much for me.
I totally get the NEED to release that darkness.
It's just a bit rough for a tender heart, such as myself.
Great reaction! I think you were pretty spot on in your interpretation of the song. Also, nice throwback Marlins jersey.
Thanks, I collect 1990s Starter jerseys, I really like this FL one.
Great song and great reaction! Ren is doing a big purge! Letting all the anger and rage out and starting over! I think? Love it!
Id love to see Ren on your channel and you two talking about hip hop.
REN💜💜🔥🔥
Vegas native here 👋
Great reaction
Loved the reaction! Always a great job 🔥💜
Yeah the first time I heard this one by Ren, I'm ngl I was a little put off. I'm very high in my religious beliefs (but I'm never judgemental) and had to really take a few listens to finally get what Ren was saying. By also listening to him in his short videos, posts and all that kind of stuff. He was in a dark place with his health when he wrote this. From what I gather, he was saying to let go of everything and reinvent himself. All I can say is I love the flows and beat. This one isn't on my list of my faves but I respect it.
I can certainly see where it would be off-putting in a first listen. I really respect Ren going ahead and saying what he needed to say, putting such things in your music can be risky.
Loved your reaction! Definitely a darker track but I love it. I think the key to this song is the line about killing the metaphors. Plus releasing a song that he fully expected to turn off a part of his fan base is definitely masochistic!
Thanks, appreciate it
Will you go away 😂
@@TobiiRheaStarr Never! I will haunt you forever 😂😂😂
@@DogDocKat mwahahaha 😝
Cant wait for you to get to some of his older stuff like Power and Blind Eyed ft Sam Tompkins (the one ft the angry park attendant is so funny and really good! 🔥

Your reactions are great, mate. Thank you
❤
It's not 'usually sexual' at all but that's the most known definition. It as often as not, not sexual at all. :)
Appreciate the info!
🔥🔥🔥🔥💕
Absolute fire track!! 🔥🔥🖤
..."Kill the one upon the cross"...
... the essence of salvation 316...
All metaphors.
..."Highway to"...heaven'...
Just replace ..."hell"... with heaven and
..."kill"... with love
easy peasy
Waiting to see what you think of War Pigs! 🔥🔥🔥
Kg= kilogram
Oh of course LMAO 😂
Also KG...Ren was calling out props to the video game.
KG - Kilogram
Great reaction thb i only wanted to hear your opinions and thoughts on these song bc imo these sond has no repay value and nothing is relatable so I have a diconnect with this song
I don't know why anyone would think that was a good reaction. You twice jumped forward after pausing. The first time, it looked like you were going to miss a third of the track as you didn't even realise you'd jumped, even though it was a completely new flow. Luckily you decided to restart. The second time was a shorter chunk but unfortunately you failed to realise, again, that you'd jumped, didn't rewind, so missed that part entirely. You also missed some great transitions and lyrics, by pausing without rewinding... Had you just had a spliff, or a few large whiskies? lol. :)
Well, I appreciate your feedback
@Codex777 I don't know how anybody would tolerate the supercilious shit you post on reaction channels. This post was dripping in snide.
Maybe people think it's a good reaction because it came from the heart, from his place of truth. Maybe people thought it's a good reaction because he's likeable and they can connect with not only what he says, but how he says it. Perhaps people think it's a great reaction because he has life experiences he can share and relate to his interpretation of the music. Maybe people thought it was a great reaction because they're not looking for perfection and don't give a shit about other's perceived mistakes..... See how this works?
Instead of devoting your time to wearily Rensplaining and admonishing reactors and their audiences alike, maybe you should work on some self-development of your social skills.
@@TheLVME well I personally love your reactions, you clearly know what you are talking about when it comes to rap/hip-hop.
Just subbed, keep up the good work.
