Not liking a character design is 100% a valid criticism. If I'm going to be looking at something/someone for 40+ hours, it better be appealing. And that's the opinion of a vast majority of the gaming world. Otherwise, cosmetics wouldn't be so financially lucrative. Maybe it isn't a problem for you, that's your opinion, but it doesn't invalidate others opinions. At the end of the day, games are a product. Gamers are the consumers of those products. If you don't make products that the consumer wants, you will lose money. They are not entitled to our money. They can make any game that they want and everyone is allowed to have opinions on those games. Whether you agree with them or not doesn't matter. I hope you enjoy Intergalactic. Personally, I don't have enough info to make a definitive decision on it yet. But it didn't start off on a good foot in my opinion.
This wasn’t about design, this was about being upset with finding a character unattractive. I made it clear about design as far as something how the design of say, Sonic the Hedgehog first looked when it came to the movie but design and attraction are two totally different things. Being upset over the way a character model is designed is one thing but being upset over a female lead or how you don’t find her attractive, that’s a totally different thing and that was my entire point that you seemed to miss. The fact that people are mad over a shaved headed Asian woman as a lead, which is what a majority people are upset over, all in an only 4 minute trailer is ridiculous. We haven’t even really seen the bread and butter of this game and the opinions people are having are absolutely wild. -Brian
People playing game as entertainment , they paid their hard earned money into it to entertain them, escape from realism, to jump into fantasy land to relax, not to play a game using ugly character. If I want to play an ugly character, I'll just look at the mirror. No one is angry with the ugly game, they just mocked at it to see another Concorde 2.0 in the making. If your game failed to cater the market ( majorly normal people who want to play beautiful character) of course it will failed miserably . So far no game able to performed when their promotional video was ratioed.
How exactly is it Concord 2.0? Have you played this game yet? We haven’t. Concord didn’t fail because of how the characters looked, which they didn’t even look bad, it failed because the gameplay was awful. -Brian

There are, in youtube only, videos mocking and/or denouncing this kind of games that have hundreds of thousands views and everybody agrees that the "woke" visual is a strong marker for avoiding a game. You're out of touch, boomer (I'm probably older than you but being a boomer is in the head)
